Honeymoon Period Over for Kamala Harris Polls Show Tight Race
I believe Hillary lost her run because the polls all said she was a shoo-in, leaving many voters thinking "Oh, I don't need to vote, she's got this." I also believe Harris is much further ahead than polls indicate and isn't reported as such to keep the fires burning. -

Controversy Surrounds Guardian Review of Oct 7 Documentary on Hamas Massacre
The Guardian appears to have burnt their fingers somewhat in releasing this only a year on. Still, given time in more favourable circumstances it will no doubt re-emerge as part of the overall effort to blame Israel and whitewash the Gazans. -

Putin Urged to Deploy Nuclear Weapons to Expedite War and Sever NATO Supply Routes
The outcome could be similar however. If he who shoots himself in the foot constantly also known as Putin was to be stupid enough to unleash a tactical nuke then the kiddie cloves would be removed and the whole might of NATO who he was so good at expanding, with the latest additions of Finland and Sweden would come bearing down on him. A massive series of strikes with conventional weapons. Massive enough but measured. Biden has already hinted at this. Outcome. A wounded Putin. What would happen next? He would either admit defeat, although that's unlikely and perhaps we know his mindset from his own Parable of the ‘Cornered Rat’ on what he would do. If he was not deposed which we know he is very scared of, he would become extremely dangerous and then the possibility of real nukes would be real. Again everyone a loser. He indeed once said that a "world without Russia is not a world worth having". Extreme language of nuclear Holocaust. So unless Putin wants to commit suicide and the world to end as we know it. Its just another of those cry wolf red lines. -

Selling gold - taxes
What deluded comments. Don't waste our time if your ignorance has nothing to offer. First - the Principal. Seems clear that where there is a monetary gain realized from the resale of 96.5% gold bars bought & sold in Thailand, CGT is payable. My interest relates to the Practice. Based on some purchase receipts which in all cases show the personal details of a buyer, I'm assuming any sales receipts will show the same details. In reality, does the TRD currently monitor sales of gold bars to ensure that CGT - where payable - is actually collected???? -

Elderly Swiss man busted with gun at Phuket Airport
The weapon used in the attack was also recovered by the police, hidden under the seat of his motorcycle. Sorry, couldn't help myself. Agree, silly statement by S100. Although from experience, it easy to acquire a gun (2 if wanting) in TH. -

Thai Doctor Saves Foreign Tourist After Cardiac Arrest on Pattaya Street
A foreign tourist suffered a cardiac arrest as he was waiting at a traffic light on Pattaya Central Road. He was saved by the swift actions of a young Thai doctor and local rescue volunteers. The incident which has since garnered significant attention across Thai social media, began when the tourist collapsed on Central Road, near the intersection across from Foodland. Passersby’s quickly gather around the unconscious man, while a young doctor rushes to the scene, performing life-saving CPR. The doctor, identified as Dr. Surachet Sirisuthivoranon, known as “Dr. Mark”, a 32-year-old physician from Chan Clinic, happened to be nearby when the incident unfolded. Dr. Mark explained that the foreigner had suddenly lost consciousness while waiting at the traffic light and had no pulse when he was found. Without hesitation, Dr. Mark, along with rescue volunteers from the Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Foundation, began administering emergency CPR to revive the tourist. The rescue was a combined effort, with traffic police helping to manage the scene as Dr. Mark and the volunteers worked tirelessly to stabilise the patient. Dr Mark continued to assist and also accompanied the tourist to the hospital in the ambulance to ensure his condition was monitored en route. Dr. Mark, is currently pursuing a PhD at Siriraj Hospital and emphasised the importance of basic first aid knowledge and how interventions like CPR can make the difference between life and death. The tourist, whose identity was not disclosed, was taken to a local hospital, where he is reported to be recovering under medical care.
