KFC Thailand is celebrating the upcoming National Fried Chicken Day on July 6 with a special promotion that will give you a free crispy fried drumstick if you can crow like a chicken at the staff.

July 6 is considered National Fried Chicken Day in the United States. Fried chicken lovers will celebrate the day by cooking and eating fried chicken in a variety of ways. As one of the first fast-food American chains, KFC always launches promotions inviting its customers to celebrate the day.

This year, in Thailand, KFC plans to give away 300 fried drumsticks on July 6 at three branches: Future Park Rangsit shopping mall in Pathum Thani, Central Phitsanulok shopping mall in Phitsanulok, and KFC Meet & Eat in Nakhon Pathom province.

To get the free chicken, customers must participate in KFC’s challenge. The store urges its customers to crow like a chicken at the ordering counter to get the gift.

As you are in Thailand, trying to crow like a Thai chicken would be preferred. For Thai people, the chicken sound is not like “cock-a-doodle-doo” as in the UK and US but it sounds “ekke ek ek.” However, the store emphasised that it is open to any chicken sounds in each customer’s style.

According to the announcement on KFC Thailand’s official Facebook page, customers will be entitled to crow and win the free chicken only after they order at least one item (no minimum order limit).

Only 100 drumsticks in hot and spicy flavours, valued at 45 baht, will be available at each branch. The activity will be open to participate in between 10am to 4pm, or until the free product is out of stock. Each participant must allow staff members to record videos and pictures while participating.

Aside from appreciation for the creative promotion, many KFC lovers expressed their disappointment at the small number of free chicken drumsticks and the limited locations for the promotion.

Besides the free drumstick promotion, KFC is also celebrating July as the month of fried chicken, with a 55 baht discount after ordering two drumsticks with a code, KFC55, via the Line Man application from July 1 to July 31.

300 fried drumsticks ....  That'll cost them about 6,000 baht ...  Big Deal KFC  !!

Pretty lousy promo for such a huge company if you ask me .....    in the US they give away free all day at every store,   not just 3 stores.

KFC are as tight as CP ......   they give nothing away ....   TIT

KFC for the world's smallest portions at the highest prices.  Large fries is 17 fries in a little box.  Small fries is neither a particle nor light.  Kid's menu is just imagination.

Texus Chicken is better.  Huge servings.

Let's hold fried chicken celebrations for a whole month, in June, instead of this Pride (no need for pride about what you do in your bedroom, no need for shame either, please just act normally) rubbish.

What in the funck are you talking about?  Nobody, and I mean literally zero people, care about your off topic, nonsensical opinion.
