A tragic incident unfolded in Chonburi, Thailand, last night when Russian national Miss Oksana Savon, 44, fell to her death from the 6th floor of a luxury condominium.

The local authorities were alerted to the scene on July 3, 2024, after residents reported a person falling from a height.

When the Pattaya City Police arrived at the Jomtien 2nd Road condominium, they found Miss Savon's lifeless body near the building.

The resident condominium, known for its towering structure of over 40 floors, quickly became a site of investigation. According to reports, Miss Savon had been staying in room 613 on the 6th floor.

Preliminary inquiries suggest that a domestic dispute had escalated prior to the incident. Miss Savon had an argument with her husband, who is also Russian, over her desire to smoke marijuana.

Her husband's prohibition reportedly caused her severe distress, culminating in her decision to jump off the balcony.

The police quickly moved to secure the area, barring any unrelated individuals from approaching the scene. The investigation involved a thorough inspection of the deceased's room and recording of evidence.

The Pattaya Tourist Police and Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Rescue Foundation assisted in the immediate aftermath of the incident.

CCTV footage from the building is being reviewed, and the police are questioning the husband to piece together a clearer picture of the events leading up to the tragedy.

The forensic team from Chonburi Province's Zone 2 is also set to conduct a detailed examination of Miss Savon's body to establish the precise cause of death.

Doesn't sound like "she jumped because of the dope".

2 people were in the room, one jumped. Why? Million reasons, but the investigation concluded that she was upset due to weed prohibition. What source? her husband? Holy spirit? CCTV running 24/7 in their private dwelling? Neighbor who heard and recorded everything?

And than: Immigration Police. Check her visa and her husband legal status?

All known. I have her passport and visa details in front of me. As usual, the reporting doesn't tell anything close to the full story.

yeah, she jumped with her passport attached to her neck. And her husband was downstairs in lobby waiting for Imm & Tourist police with Russian volunteer the submit his confession of prohibiting her to "puff a little dragon"

sure-sure

Why behave like an idiot? It's not necessary. She has a Non-B category visa. I have the number and the date.

Many self medicate instead of taking anti depressants. If it makes them "normal" in their minds, taking it away can lead to panic and irrational behavior.

44 is the age when most of the fun has gone. Esp. for women. HRT might help, plastic surgeries and lots of physical activity.

Thought many on here said it was not addictive ?

Not physically deemed addictive but people can become dependent for "coping" with psych issues including suicide.

Hell of a job dragging your wife up to the top floor.....someone would have seen or heard something.

Also after 40+ estrogen declines and females tend to gain extra weight. Not all, but generally they do.

According to jumpers back in China Town (that thai baht crush last century), Internet Bubble collapse in Kuala Lumpur, something about 2008 in Thailand and other small financial quakes around SE Asia - higher jumping point - better result of suicide.

One dude mastered the jump into swimming pool from 23 floor. He almost dissolve himself on impact.
