As Tod mentioned Ranong Pier crossing is open and seems easy BUT not an option if you have already done 2 overland trips already. You might be told from agents that it's possible but several people were turned back.

If doing a border bounce I would recommend over Satun as the travel time is shorter.

This is a list of the Burma / Thai land crossings

At this time ONLY the Ranong/Kawthaung crossing in Ranong Province is open to foreigners bouncing out and back

Mae Sai/Tachileik in Chiang Rai Province <- CLOSED
Mae Sot/Myawaddy in Tak Province <- CLOSED
Phu Nam Ron/Htee Khee in Kanchanaburi Province <- CLOSED
Ranong Pier/Kawthaung in Ranong Province (where you take a boat across) <- OPEN

Just curious how you get this information. I don't want to bother people with this question needlessly in the future. Thanks
