Hallmark showed "Blackbeard" part 1 at 22.00 last night with part 2 tonight at the same time.

The credits indicate it was part filmed in Thailand.

Is this the film that two or three years ago was recruiting locals as volunteers for extras and, if so, is there anyone on TV who took part and can recognise themselves?
