I hear it can be a tad polluted.

Smoke gets in your eyes.😉

$35 therapy sessions -those will be with a Thai therapist, and very hard to book. Chiang Mai is great for cheap(er) rehab, tho.

For a whitie therapist, you have to go to Bangkok.

Lived there for 5 years and the pollution is disgusting.  Where most people stay around the moat it is terrible 8 months each year. Never going back and don't know how anyone would put up with breathing smoke from the burning season and uncontrolled exhaust fumes.  If you live a little outside and enjoy the outdoors, it is beautiful until the burning season starts so That might be manageable.

Yep, 3 years in the late 1990s and 2 more around 2012.  Loved the cycling but in the end gave-up.  Can't all be as wise as decisive as yourself.
