Is it possible to renew thai driving license when not in the country?

My bike and car licenses are expiring in a couple of months and i probably won't be able to go back before it does. I know i can go back and get the licenses again but i'd rather not go through the testing again. Is it possible to have someone else renew it for me? or if it's not and it expires, do i have a period of time before i have to redo the entire testing process?

No you have to do it in person. You have a year after expiry to renew to avoid extra tests
