Where did you buy your Bar Stool in Thailand?

As I type this, my ar$e is not loving my old rickety bar stool. I saw an okay one at Index for 3,900 baht but I'd really like something higher quality. I'm looking for one with arm rest and adjustable height. Have you had any luck finding something of higher quality?

Try IKEA

Buy Bar Tables & Chairs Online - Dining Room Funiture - IKEA

Maybe it's not what you want, but at least it will give you some ideas.

I bought two chairs for my kitchen. My gf likes one which has a big cushion. I prefer the one just wood.

It's definitely a good idea to try to sit on them to find out what you like.

Crap photo, but these were comfy, with added seat cushion.  Bought from vendor at Chatuchak Market.  Sold with the old house.  Rattan & swiveled.   Bought barstools and dining chairs, we liked them so much.

Nah I prefer my sofa thanks.

Or my recliner with holes in the arms to hold the beer glass.

Hi OMF, I never thought of IKEA until you posted and you're right it does give me a few ideas of what I'm looking for. Thank you my fellow Asean Now Warrior!

Yeah, they are perfect. Just that they are not on the cheap end.

Bar stools are for bars hence the name, not for a home IMO.

Have you never heard of a breakfast bar?

We have one in our home and I made my own stools for it.

Fixed height, swivel and shaped big enough for my wife's backside.

How heavy are you?

Many of those variable height stools like in the picture fail soon.

I bought this one from IKEA. IMHO it is comfortable to sit, they have a rest for the feet, and this height adjust mechanism is very sturdy.

Right now I'm 89kg but I'm on a workout plan to reduce to 83kg by years end. Yes, I agree the variable height bar stools probably don't last long.

Yes they look very high quality real leather, probably way too rich for my blood.
