On July 24, Lt. Col. Thasana Udomporn, an investigator at Lam Luk Ka Police Station, received a report of a fire at rental warehouses in Moo 12, Bueng Kham Phroi Subdistrict, Lam Luk Ka District, Pathum Thani Province. Following the report, he informed his superiors and promptly went to the scene with Deputy Superintendent Prakop Nakyai and more than 20 fire trucks.

The fire originated at warehouse B41, belonging to a furniture manufacturing company, and rapidly spread to adjacent warehouses, affecting four on the left and three on the right, totaling seven warehouses. The damage is yet to be assessed. Firefighters managed to contain the blaze to a limited area.

According to Mr. Paiboon, 64, a security guard, the fire likely started due to an electrical short circuit in warehouse B41. He was patrolling the area when he saw the fire inside the locked warehouse, making it impossible to access.

The warehouse in question stored wood and thinner, materials for furniture production. At the time of the fire, no workers were present as the company had closed around 17.00, however, neighbouring companies were still operational.

Authorities have documented the scene and will interview witnesses to determine the cause of the fire. Forensic officers will also conduct a thorough investigation to establish the exact cause of the blaze.
