Too many can't realize their own ability/knowledge and end up floundering. No idea why a couple of people responded with "confused" emojis on your comment. Maybe they are among those who are the leeches of society mooching those free bennies you mentioned. -

In general I would agree with you, however I purchased a sofa from these guys and I've had it for 6 years. I'm totally satisfied with it, the sofa was worth 100,000 and I paid 30,000 for it, so it comes highly recommended. -

No, 800K in a bank account. this doesn't mean you have to spend it. You could have the same money in the bank for decades. Tax is only levied on money earned in a certain year. -

It may be obvious to you, but what's the solution? Apart from building more prisons? Is the UK locking up too many people in the first place? Are sentences too long? I don't know the answer to these questions. Do you have any genuine information you could provide that might answer these questions? -

What are the requirements exactly for credit cards?
As mentioned-- its more like a debit card as you have (usually a separate account) where you have the money deposited I put 100K in-you then get to chose what % you want to pay back each month---I went for the 100% pay back, so there are no real charges. its handy Hire cars Book most foreign hotels etc. Security is good, every time I use it my watch/phone alerts me that I am---and if its a large amount they want me to confirm. If you do succeed in getting one--I really recommend the Air Asia card. (mainly BKK Bank do that one) just showing it allows you to board first - it really doesn't take a lot of using before you are getting free drinks and upgrade seats especially if you use it to book air fares. I didn't have any of the things mentioned work permit etc etc , but I know things have changed a lot re bank accounts. -

Could this be becase weed is a lot less prevalent until recently ?... and thus, due to its illegality was more likely to be consumed in the privacy one ones home, ergo the lack of people driving, which naturally means less accidents. Anecdotal information of personal use - I don't think I'd be able to drive while high. I'd be dangerous, more likely to fall asleep too. As you pointed out - this guy may also have been drinking as there is a higher probability of 'dual use' - particularly in a tourist resort. But that doe not omit the fact that weed was a contributory factor. IF while 'only' drunk he may not have made the choice to drive, weed was the additional factor that got him so smashed he was 'tipped over the edge' so to speak... (or not, there is no real way of telling'). But... just because 'weed was involved' does not imply a 'anti-marijuana agenda' as some are suggesting.... Though it would be interesting to know what the guys breathalyser result was, just to close out speculation. Either way: driving under the influence of booze or weed is very very stupid, selfish, dangerous etc etc. -
