I’ll be interested to see the type of monkeypox this guy has and his corresponding health in the weeks to come.

Many a true word spoken in jest - let's see where this goes!

As long as the lock-downs start after my return to Thailand in a few weeks then I'll be happier there than in the UK.

I can't get back for about 3 months.

I don't want to get stuck in London.

Rather London than the South Devon coast - it's grim down here at the best of times.

London is not much better in winter.

I get your point though, Devon is lovely, in the brief English summer.

South Devon is where the English Riviera is located.  😁     I suggest you visit this website for  suggestions on how to visit the picturesque South Devon region.      https://www.visitsouthdevon.co.uk/        I doubt they have machete waving thugs running about like they do in London and the north west.  The only machetes I see now are in Thailand are at the market. They know how to slice their melons with gusto.   If you miss  the SRT, visit the Babbacombe Cliff Railway. 🙂

I do not understand why immigration can not simply put a short time ban on allowing anyone from africa into the country. Clearly they are not acting on the information about how quickly it is spreading throughout the continent. Also, it would not affect tourism numbers so much but if the mokeypox strain reaches this country then any hope of containing it will be gone.

It has been found in Europe
