Thai Schoolgirls Expose Teacher Over Inappropriate Instagram Images

In a small town in Pattalung, Southern Thailand, a group of schoolgirls has lodged a formal complaint against a male teacher suspected of creating and sharing explicit images of them on Instagram. On August 23, one student, after discovering nude images of herself on the platform, reported the matter to teachers, only to be discouraged from taking legal action by the school director, who was concerned about the school's reputation.

The girl, undeterred, went to Khok Cha-ngai Police Station with her parents and four friends, whose images had also been shared. Initial reports suggest over 10 students might have fallen victim to this alleged misconduct. The images were reportedly edited and circulated on Instagram, spurring concerns among the victims' families about the school's lack of protective measures.

The allegations pinpoint a male teacher known for inappropriate behaviour around young female students and possessing photo-editing skills. However, the police have yet to initiate a full investigation, pending additional complaints from other affected students.

Journalists visiting the school were met with resistance, with a male staff member insisting the matter was an internal issue and urging reporters to cease their inquiries. The situation remains tense as the community awaits further actions from both law enforcement and the educational institution involved.

My god, as if the crime of a teacher taking and having inappropriate photos of students isn't bad enough, then the school administrators put fut a united effort to sweep it under the rug. Seems like they knew about this guy, yet did nothing to protect the students...which makes them complicit to the crimes.  All for the sake of saving the school's face.  They all deserve to be fired immediately and the pervert teachers brought up on charges.   Sounds like law enforcement and the school might be in negotiations to determne the pay-off amount to allow the pervert teacher to "flee the country".

The reputation of the school!!

This is disgusting and if I was the school director I would throw this paedo creep under the bus!

But who hired him, and how long did they know he was dodgy?

Sadly, this is not an isolated case!

How many victims you want? 1 should be enough.

I'm being shown a near black stating the content is sensitive with a place to click if I want to see it. The link doesn't work. Has anybody here seen the image? If so, wht is it.

quote from instagram

"Post photos and videos that are appropriate for a diverse audience. We know that there are times when people might want to share nude images that are artistic or creative in nature, but for a variety of reasons, we don't allow nudity on Instagram."

maybe another platform

either way this is extremely bad behavior if true

So if kids commit suicide because of fake photos online is OK with you?

Nobody committed suicide. Nor is there any indication that anyone is about to commit suicide. Perhaps we should stick to the facts here?

Key facts

  • Suicide is the leading cause of death among young Australians.
  • Common risk factors for suicide include mental health conditions, physical illnesses or disabilities, substance use and prior suicide attempts.
  • Common signs of suicide risk include sudden mood or behaviour changes, aggression, irritability, talk of death, self-harm and engaging in risky behaviour.
  • Young people may be less likely to attempt suicide if they are resilient and have positive relationships with parents or other adults and close friends.
  • A young person at risk of suicide should see a qualified mental health professional to get the right treatment and support. so you guess not in Thailand

Ages? Teachers are, of course, in a position of trust; this is really a lot worse than those cases we read about where peers, exes, etc., do something similar.
