He gave up drugs a long time ago. Should be congragulated in improving his life. So sad the left is so nasty these days.

Once an addict, always an addict, a fundamental rule of groups like Alcoholics Anonymous. He might have stopped using drugs but the addiction personality remains, obvioiusly transferred in this case to a need for power and attention.

Well, he's actually done it. He's removing his name from state ballots and throwing his support behind Trump, proving that he really doesn't have any integrity.  This is what he had to say about Trump just 3 months ago:

m/RobertKennedyJr/status/1794913465594962285 Now all of this is true and the reason why he decided to run against Trump in the first place. So what changed? The only question now is what's the quid pro quo because you know there has to be one.

BE AFRAID, BE VERY AFRAID..........................

Health experts sound alarm over RFK Jr. influence as an "anti-vaxxer"

Robert F. Kennedy’s endorsement and appointment to Donald Trump’s transition team have health experts worried.

From a health perspective this would be nothing short of chaos,” said Robert Murphy, a professor of infectious disease at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine.

Trump has expressed wildly different views on vaccines. Before entering politics, Trump was an avowed vaccine skeptic, often parroting the widely discredited theory that childhood vaccines, or at least high doses of them, cause autism.

Kennedy has also said conflicting things on vaccines in the past. He has denied being completely against vaccines but has frequently promoted debunked theories about them.

AND......Hydroxychloroquine, A Drug Trump Promoted To Treat Covid-19, Linked To 17,000 Deaths, Estimates Show!

If Kennedy has a say in the health issues and health management in the USA, if trump should be re-elected, then I fear for the poor people in the USA, because it's possible that ivermectin, hydroxychloroquine, bleach and UV light could be on the "recommended list" and other nut jobs like Marjorie Taylor Greene could well have a say in things – – god help the poor people of the USA, especially those that didn't vote for the aforementioned candidates. Sad, so very sad to envisage.

I think you'll find that those "estimates" have recently been "debunked"

Thanks to "Manu from" another place.

"The decision to retract was made due to two major issues.

1. Reliability of the data and choice of the data. The Belgian dataset in particular was found to be unreliable, based on estimates.

2. The assumption that all patients that entered the clinic were being treated the same pharmacologically was incorrect.

The above two issues meant that the Editor-in-Chief found the conclusions of the article to be unreliable and therefore the article needed to be retracted."

Since not a danger to society or flight risk, he'd still be out on bail while appealing.  First offender, no criminal record, non violent crime ... no jail sentence.

And that would normally be the case.  But considering the circumstances, anything is possible. Or, should I say anything was possible.  Sentencing has been delayed.
