Is it worth having one short sighted eye corrected?
OK now I follow you. Yes, for most people it would work and in fact that is what I did 25 years ago (actually in my case, myopia was so severe I had to correct both eyes but left one eye under-corrected i.e. still a bit short-sighted). Worked well and now aged over 70, I can still dispense with reading glasses for all but really small print A minority of people's brains don't adjust to this. Easy to find out in advance, just try a contact lens that corrects vision in one eye only and see how you do. -

She saw a space and filled it. She probably didn't think he would move back into it. The guy likely didn't even see her. But she thinks he should take responsibility for her error! Filtering is very risky. Thais seem to behave like motorcyclists have their own little private lane in-between each lane on the road. They don't. -

Plug and Play Solar
As I was planning to go fully off-grid in my build I did research DC aircons, I didn’t see hybrids available in Thailand at the time. My conclusion was it was better to pool my solar PV and use it where it was needed, otherwise you could have panels paired with an aircon in a guest bedroom that was rarely used. AC aircons in Thailand are cheap and you can buy them anywhere. DC aircons were very expensive and it just need one gecko! -

I'm sorry, but I don't agree discussion on TCC's was productive. Maybe for your own understanding, yes, but for anyone generally, it's irrelevant. Subtly speculating that an obscure regulation, still on the books but not operational for more than 20 years, might be used in the future...................... I don't see that as being helpful or providing any guidance on what might happen later. No, they are not operational , for any visa types. Again, I don't see how this is helpful to anyone's understanding. Here, again, you say "before the WP holder leaves the country" ........ why? There's no checking of taxation by immigration of any visa holder (or visa exempt for that matter) when they exit the country. It's already been clarified that, for Non B visa holders with associated work permits, taxation proof ( not TCC's) is required on extensions. This isn't ensuring taxes are paid "before they leave the country" , it's ensuring they are paid so they renew the right to stay in the country under the visa type and associated work permit. -
