Trump: “There Will Be No Third Debate!”
Me neither, because I totally fail to understand how his "supporters" cannot see through his lies and bluster. That he has been called out for his lies scores of times seems to make no difference to his followers: – also........... – That he is a convicted crook, stealing from charities and made to repay $21 million to them. – In November 2016, Trump agreed to settle a series of lawsuits related to Trump Universityfor $25 million. – Trump has filed for six bankruptcies and has had many failed businesses, such as: –Trumped!, Trump Steaks, Trump Network, GoTrump, Tour de Trump, Trump Airlines, Trump Vodka, The New Jersey Generals, Trump Mortgage, Trump: The Game, Trump Magazine, Trump Ice . – And he was called out for racial bias when this was posted regarding his rooms for rent: –No Vacancies’ for Blacks. – He panders to the Christian right followers, yet at the same time committing adultery, lying, being found guilty of fraud and breaking just about every commandment. Looking at that lot it is surprising that even the rubes, rednecks and dipsticks still believe his BS, but they do and there is no rhyme nor reason as to why. To add to the already deepening mystery, one only has to listen to his ramble on childcare, to understand that he is fast losing his marbles: – https://youtu.be/jbVinpyscTU?feature=shared and when you think about it he has stated that he loves the "poorly educated", so those, along with the rubes, rednecks and dipsticks still go on believing him. Unbelievable, and some. Having said that, if by some fluke he is re-elected president in November, then America will have gotten the dumb, dipstick that they so richly deserve. -

Early Release Scheme Hits Hurdles as Several Returned to Prison
1. He didn't need to lock up people who posted hurty word tweets on facebook. 2. He could have released early and deported foreign criminals. I think the real problem though is that his weakness as a leader and a as a man is now on full display to the public. Every day there is a new instance that demonstrates how much of a hypocrite he is, or how thoroughly out of depth he is. He was able to get away with his catalog of mistakes in the CPS (Jimmy Saville, Rochdale etc) as no-one really knew who he was, or as opposition leader where there were no consequences to his actions but now he is PM he is under the spotlight, and it is proving disastrous for him and his party as he cannot hide or blame someone else like 'the government'. I think if he is not already, he is going to be the most hated PM in modern history by all sides of politics. -

Heatwave and Climate Change Puts Pressure on Thailand
Spot on, the climate is changing, it has been for billions of years and there is not much we can do about it. Mans contrition to global warming is minuscule, if a country like the UK, which is obsessed with this net zero nonsense, sank beneath the waves tomorrow it would make zero change. -

world wide income taxation update
Hardly a game changing amount, but a little out of a little can be a lot for some people's circumstances, but I believe the member's point is, doesn't that mean you now have less than 65k baht a month to live on, thus, the hint that the 65k baht may increase in the future. I have always said the 800k and 65k can't stay forever. These figures are already decades old, but this is for another thread. -

Trump Harris: Who won the debate ?
someone isnt happy about the 1000's if migrants flowing into Springfields population due to the mess of Biden/Harris border, yet is Trumps fault? some mental gymnastics needed to come up with that the daily mail is the printed version of cnn, with some celeb gossip added in. -

Berberine & Baby Wipes...
Look up lagniappe. It's either a freebee to engender goodwill, or a free sample to advertise D-nee baby wipes. Maybe both. Edit: Of course, that assumes you also got what you ordered. If not, that's a well reported scam. -

Heatwave and Climate Change Puts Pressure on Thailand
Did you miss the word "glimpse" in the OP's post? In other words.... it's only a small portion of the story. A heatwave is indeed a glimpse of the future.... it's going to get warmer in the next few decades. The absolute changes in temperature do not look that scary but they will greatly increase the variance in many local weather effects. Different areas will have widely different changes in their local climate depending on their local geography and proximity to the oceans. -

Do you want President Harris to pardon Trump?
FFS! They weren't "personal papers," they were government documents, many of them extremely sensitive. -

Do you want President Harris to pardon Trump?
I just realized that it's a beautiful Sunday, the sun is shining and here I am cooped up inside and reading MAGA filth. No more. Heading up to Dongtan beach for some R&R. I wish all my fellow non-MAGA cultists a great Sunday!🙂 -

Thai supermarket Big C to launch four new branches
I always take a pic of any 'offers' or something doubtful, rarely do you get a sorry, usually they say nothing or blame customers for messing about with the price labels. -

world wide income taxation update
Firstly, I am not upset. Everyone is entitled to their opinion on this issue. I just give more weight to posts that set out how one reached their opinion, which may include links, quotes, youtube videos etc etc, rather than just throw away lines like, "The Thai's would never do that" or "Not gonna happen." You have probably read me posting that we will all have to pay "something." I have not suggested that the "something" is always going to be tax. I have also not suggested that the "something" will be a bribe, either. In your own post you have said some might have to pay for document translation, or maybe agents. Is that not a new cost for them, thus "something" more to pay next year? All this discussion about assessable income, savings, gifting blah blah blah. As I have said, for most, including pensioners, it could be as simple as paying 500 baht for a document from the TRD at extension time. Yes, we will all laugh at it, because for those who shouldn't be paying anything, they have to pay 500 baht, and for those who should be paying a lot more, they are only paying 500 baht. It's the same for the Certificate of Residence. Time will tell, but when MONEY is involved, you rarely see Thai's walk away from it. -
