If I were undecided before the debate I'd still be undecided re Harris. I could have written her answers before the debate. A whole lot of nothin' debate, from both of them.

 

She didn't say what she'd actually DO about illegal immigration, the economy, inflation, israel and Ukraine- just a load of waffle.

Just read a couple summaries of the debate, and pretty much what I expected.

 

Only surprise, first one, not really, Harris offering tax credit (vote buying), then a big surprise, suggests a 'national sales tax'   What are you nuts, as that's not going to win any votes.  More taxes ... not the way to go 

 

The rest went as expected, he says, she says, I did this, you did that.  It's your fault, no it's your fault.  Both, themselves, being their worst enemy.  The lesser of two evils politics ... just sad.

 

No winners here, and as always, USA citizens are the losers, in every sense of the word.

Harris was flatly rejected by Dems when she ran for the Dem candidacy in 2019. She has no noteworthy accomplishments to show from her time as VP and is widely disliked in her own party.

Nikki Haley would have wiped the floor with Harris tonight and likely in a GE too.

Dark times ahead in the US which is bad news for the rest of us.

Let's have a closer look 90 minute debate, time needed to ask the questions, so max 42 minutes for each candidate to talk.

The summary you read was not very good or you misunderstood. The national sales tax was a comment about Trumps plan to put tariffs on all imports. What she said is at about the end of the following 2 minute clip.
