Finance Minister Pichai Chunhavajira has revealed that 14.2 million vulnerable and disabled Thais will receive their 10,000 baht cash benefit from the digital wallet scheme on September 25, funded by the 140 billion baht supplementary budget for the 2024 fiscal year.

The remaining 30 million people who have subscribed to the scheme are unlikely to receive the money within this year, he added.

Sounds like a cigar from their own box. With many victims of flooding and storms, which are mostly the vulnerable, they can get instead of real help their 10k handout already. It will save the Government money as real and more help will cist much more... Why do the Thai people accept this ??

Uneducated 'Sheeple' are easy to manipulate !

The PM recently said payment would be made in 'tranches'. Now, there's a buzzword from yesteryear. No detail of how individuals will be identified and paid.

I will let you know if it happens, the wife's youngest daughter is registered disabled.

So far, she has not been registered for the 10K, just using her disabled card, we shall see.

Now that I am over 60 I cant handle 2 or more ladies a day...So I consider myself disabled.....So if I dont get 10,000 I will let everyone know...

that 14.2 million vulnerable and disabled Thais

out of 70 million thais, maybe they should do a national IQ test also...
