Are you freakin' joking. Come on man. What conversation we have is more akin to "Have you eaten yet" How's your family. Where are you from etc... You actually think I am compelled to have conversations with my dates about race and prejudice. I myself am not prejudice and as I said have had many good friends and co-workers of all races and creeds that are fine and upstanding people. Maybe there are some guys who go on Thaifriendly or pickup girls in Go Go's with the expressed intention and motivation of having drawn out conversations to instill prejudice towards middle eastern and Indian people in their dates but I"m not one of them. Perhaps I misunderstood. You came across to me like you were some sort of an expert on Thai attitudes towards Indians. Now you're telling me you only speak "some" Thai, and lack the language skills to have much of a meaningful conversation beyond how spicy do you like your food. Let's not bore readers of this thread any further with our little spat. They seem to be most interested in discussing ladyboys anyway. Hey, before I let you go, thanks to you, I registered on ThaiFriendly half an hour ago for the first time just to see if I was missing anything. My reaction? Yikes! Think I'll take a pass, but thanks for the suggestion. 3

That best one that amazes me all the time are westerners view of girls who sell their bodies. In their home country, they would call them a hooker, but here they say they married a bar girl, just to make it sound more nice and comfortable. Talking straight: They married a hooker! and a bar cashier to boot!

The mechanism for this was spelled out in an earlier post. There's no way these biases are as entrenched in the general population as they are in sex tourism centers like Pattaya and Phuket. Here you are legitimizing these prejudices based on anecdotal accounts and hackneyed clichés about body odor, call center scams, 3 way sex negotiations, three straws in a can of pop. You seem to have some very outspoken opinions on this subject, and I can't help but wonder if you have ever voiced these opinions to any of your Thaifriendly "dates." I have personally witnessed all of the above. Both out and about in Thailand and during my years living in India. Yes, they are not that common and have become stereotypes but stereotypes come from real examples. 3

Look at how many people drink in bars and how many of them fight. Statistically speaking there are very few who fight. 'when drinking heavily' are the important words here.
khunpin Posted September 16 Posted September 16 A so-called 'transgender' is still a man! Absolut wrong report here again.

I know lots of people who do that, I also did that for many years. No problem. It seems it depends a lot on our environment. I once read about a study from England. It was something like: 30% want to be totally drunk at the end of the night. And a big percentage (maybe 20% or more) wanted to fight at the end of the night. I guess in Thailand it's more like: 90% want to f@#$ at the end of the night and then they are happy. No need to fight. 1

Yes, I've seen programs where the police are called out to defuse situations out side of pubs throughout the Uk on Friday and Saturday nights, crowds of drunk animals, one can't describe them any other way, shouting, punching and kicking, they have no respect for the police, or anybody for that matter, it's disgusting.
