Trump boasted in 2016 that if elected he would “surround myself only with the best and most serious people." “We want top-of-the-line professionals.” "I only hire the best people."

This is what "the best people" say about him after working for him:

“He will always put his own interests and gratifying his own ego ahead of everything else, including the country’s interest. There’s no question about it.” Bill Barr was attorney general from 2019 to 2020.

“A person who admires autocrats and murderous dictators. A person that has nothing but contempt for our democratic institutions, our Constitution and the rule of law.” John Kelly was the secretary of homeland security in 2017 and then Mr. Trump’s chief of staff.

“And yes, I do regard him as a threat to democracy, democracy as we know it, our institutions, our political culture, all those things that make America great and have defined us as, you know, the oldest democracy on this planet.” Mark Esper, a Persian Gulf war veteran, was the secretary of the Army from 2017 to 2019 and the secretary of defense from 2019 to 2020.

“I believe anyone that puts themselves over the Constitution should never be president of the United States and anyone who asks someone else to put them over the Constitution should never be president of the United States again.” Mike Pence, a former congressman and governor of Indiana, was the vice president from 2017 to 2021.

“Ultimately asking the vice president to sort of put aside the Constitution is a huge violation of your most important oath to the American people, to protect and defend the Constitution.” Marc Short was the chief of staff for Mr. Pence.

“This is beyond wrong and illegal. It’s un-American. The president undermined American democracy baselessly for months. As a result, he’s culpable for this siege, and an utter disgrace.” Tom Bossert was the homeland security adviser.

“In no arena of American affairs has the Trump aberration been more destructive than in national security. His short attention span (except on matters of personal advantage) renders coherent foreign policy almost unattainable.” John Bolton was the national security adviser from 2018 to 2019.

“Putin, a ruthless former K.G.B. operator, played to Trump’s ego and insecurities with flattery.” H.R. McMaster, a retired lieutenant general in the Army, was the national security adviser from 2017 to 2018.

“He was extremely vulnerable to manipulation. And that became a problem for him as a president. And what I mean by that is, he had a very fragile ego, and he was very susceptible to flattery, as well as taking massive offense, as we all saw, to any kind of criticism.” Fiona Hill, a national intelligence officer under George W. Bush and Barack Obama, was the Trump administration’s top Russia and Europe adviser.

“It’s Fauci’s fault. It’s China’s fault. It’s Obama’s fault. It’s always someone else, somewhere else. He doesn’t want to hear the bad news. He doesn’t take responsibility for the bad news and wants to gloss over it and change the subject.” David Lapan was the deputy assistant secretary for media operations and the press secretary for the Department of Homeland Security.

“To him, a lie is not a lie. It’s just what he thinks. He doesn’t know the difference between the truth and a lie.” Dan Coats, a former senator from Indiana, was the director of national intelligence.

Probably people that didn't have what it takes to be the best, and now sore losers.

  • They sure do have a lot in common with their boss then.

  • For anyone with the slightest knowledge about how international politics works, they should already know that Trump is an ignorant person with NO knowledge about much at all! Trump as president again

Well, Trump was certainly a danger to Mark Esper's political and military ambitions afterhe unceremoniously fired Esper. What els is he gonna say?

Esper showed very poor judgement when he refused to accept that the President has sole discretion on whether to send the military to quell insurrection, he was lucky not to be fired then already.

He was bizarrely woke for a military man, agreeing to rename Military bases named after Confederate Generals, when that was not White House policy.

it's as if he wanted to get fired, just very strange behaviour. His sour grapes were predictable.

You compliment him and he'll do whatever you want, whether you're an ally or an adversary, you insult him and you're his enemy for life. The man is so overly emotional, his ego is so spectacularly delicate that it makes him very predictable, which is the last quality that you want in a world leader. He's a very weak man and fragile man. And he is getting weaker as he gets older.

look at his Links... Opinions and biased news services. He is trying to convince people how bad Trump is. But most likely fails to see how bad Harris is and proof in videos about it. I feel sorry for the man who opened this thread. You refuse to see what is in your face because you are hiding behind your hate for Trump. Rather than looking at both sides and seeing which would make a better leader for the US. It is people like him that scare me more than Trump ever would. I hate to imagine Harris keeping one of the largest nuclear stockpiles in the world. She is completely indecisive and knows nothing about what to do in the White House even though she has been there 4 years already. her opinions change with every interview as well as her accent. So she opens her mouth only to provide lip service to the people she is talking to. A complete fake.

For anyone with the slightest knowledge about how international politics works, they should already know that Trump is an ignorant person with NO knowledge about much at all! Trump as president again will make many people regret they ever voted on him! The result will be BAD! This election is not about GOP or the DEMs, it is about saving sanity and at least as much of world peace as possible. Then, after next 4 years you can start the "normal" BS fighting, GOP vs DEM's again!  😆

Devil on the left and Devil on the right.

No tax on social security - I’m going Devil on the right.

This time around Trump will not make the same mistakes - not as many anyway. He has learned that some people look and sound professional, but they wilt under the heat and pressure and/or they are 'plants'. Trump has had 4 years to plan for who gets what role - anyone that is not a proven Trump supporter will be removed, and only those that fully support his agenda will be appointed. The GOP has cleaned out a lot of the RINOs thanks to Trump - still more to go, but the job is underway - and no RINOs will be appointed to any role of significance in the White House Admin, Cabinet, Bureaucracy, House and Senate.

If you were alive during  the years these advisors to Trump were there, you must have buried your head in the sand like to mention the proverbial ostrich when confronted with anything different.  These were people he "wanted" around him because they were some of the best at their former jobs and many of them probably thought they could steer him away from the errors but to no avail as he doesn't ever see any error that he cannot blame someone else for.   If elected again then deep kimchi as we say for the citizens of the world.  IMHO anyway

This is exactly what KH showed in their debate and he should have scored heavily against her except she was well aware prior to the debate that all she had to do was critize him about anything and he would start ranting and raving and gaining no points against her.

No, only a pandemic which he mishandled so thoroughly that it resulted in countless deaths. It's a travesty of justice he's not locked up.

He's soooo predictable, and that's one of the reasons the dictators of the world play him like a fiddle.

In addition the guy is plain stupid and an egomaniac and that's why he's the worst leader the world has ever seen.

That is because of Xi, Putin, Little Rocket Man, Iranian head,  they have been saying for years that they are preparing for war with the west, Putin wants to restore the countries of the Soviet Union, I wants Taiwan  which has never been under communism rule, Little Rocket man wants to take over S. Korea, Iran wants to destroy Israel - the only thing holding either of them from striking is the US and its allies .  However, now the allies are fracturing somewhat with too many internal problems.  Meanwhile the weather will probably destroy all of us as it continues to change for the worse.

than "climate change"

I don't know...  I was better off after 4 years of Trump than I am today.  So was the world.

Al Gore would have referred to that as an inconvenient truth.  Trump was president for 4 years and the world didn't spin off its axis (as it may between now and election day if the warmongers have their way)

If Trump is elected he will do anything to stay in power maybe even start a war, or some other crisis,  to suspend elections, stay on by emergency degree or otherwise divide the United States.

You bogus claim notwithstanding, what does that tell you about Trump's abilities to pick people for important positions?

Sure, any moment now President Biden will declare a national emergency and postpone elections.

PS. Do you have a link to a video showing the best way to make a tinfoil hat?

True conservatives will put country over party and vote for Harris. They won't vote for an 80-year old cult leader.
