TM30 - New website address for filing notifications and registration
I found myself in a predicament when doing my online 90 Day Report on Saturday, it was rejected: Dear XXXX XXXXXXXX, Your application for "STAYING LONGER THAN 90 DAYS" has been rejected. For first-time requests of a 90-day notification in each country visit, in-person presentation at the immigration office is required. Today I went to Chaeng Wattana to do my 90 Day Report in person and succeeded, however, this was stamped on my 90 Day Receipt: Please update your notification of residence For foreigner (TM.30) and bring it to your next notification. Thank you. I returned from the USA on July 10. I have pretty much ignored the TM.30 since 2019 as I have went with the "if you leave the country and return to the same address where you had previously submitted a TM30, then you do NOT need to submit one again." When I got home today, tried to go to the TM.30 site and couldn't get into the site like others have mentioned previously in this topic. I am glad I found this topic, got a lot of homework to do as it looks like this TM.30 filing will cancel out the online 90 Day Report function. -

Dr Jack, The only fee involved in transferring £600 to BHT on my UK card via the bank app was B44.75. Peanuts, it equates to £1.00. I have no need or desire to purchase a condo, and I haven't used cheques in 20+ years. -

5 year multiple entry DTV visa (Destination Thailand) from 2024-xx-xx
Just reporting that a buddy of mine successfully obtained a DTV visa in Hanoi last week. He followed the exact same procedure (quite similar circumstances) and had no problem applying at the Hanoi embassy. The visa was ready in 3 working days. Interestingly enough, despite having a little messy visa history (a nasty mix of back-to-back VE stamps and educational visas from language schools), which caused him trouble at the border a couple of times, he had no issues entering the country in Phuket this time with his new visa. He felt welcomed. 🙂 -

More moaning about not quoting the whole post , I quoted for brevity there is no need or requirement to quote a whole post or to quote the bits you don't like. Just for you I quote the above bit that I don't like.. they where incessantly bombarded with freaporn from the "legacy media"..( not from parents) have you forgotten the daily death and hospital counts constantly scrolling across the screen on news casts on the radio,social media and on front pages of the newspapers it was almost inescapable unless living in an Amish Paradise ( incidently they did very well) -

Why do you assume that people who don't have a Thai bank account have only a single foreign debit card and that their whole life depends on it? That would be irresponsible, alright, but I don't know anyone in that situation. It's a completely unrealistic horror scenario. Same with Thai cards. I have several and take at least two of them along when I travel abroad. Even though I usually don't use my Thai cards abroad. It just gives me more options if and when I need them. -
