Same as @madone for me, too.

As much as possible.

I've been having very good luck with ordering on TikTok.

Even ordering some grocery staples that way.

Very quick delivery, too.

TikTok sellers less cheating than Lazada or Shopee.

Not no cheating, just less.

For fresh veg (avocados, asparagus, broccoli cauliflower, Brussel sprouts, tomatoes, onions, carrots, fresh peppers ...)   seafood (frozen mussels, shrimp, clams), and poultry as well as a number of regular staples like plain yogurt, feta cheese, red rice and stuff like that, I use freshket every couple of weeks.

They even have taco shells, tortillas and the like.  it also has really cheap huge fresh dill, cilantro, basil, and green onions.  Arrives the next morning,

For other meats, I order from Sloanes and Smoky Mountain (also has mainland cheddar) once a month or as needed.

Once you have done your first order, you just reorder items as needed, no searching or faffing about,

Milk and stuff like fresh herbs, tarragon, sage thyme etc I'll go down the block to Villa when I need it. fruit comes from the fruit guy that passes by the house daily.

Other:  I've never bought anything online.

The one travel agent that still exists in a storefront somewhere (near you, apparently) is grateful for your business.

Buy, use, breaks,  rinse ... repeat ....

All  Chinese quality .....  :vampire:

True in the past, but that's changing.

Slowly, but changing sure.

I'm old enough to remember the first Japanese transistor radios and the first Japanese cars to arrive in the USA.

Junk.  Garbage.  Cheap plastic trash.

But now, some of the best quality products are Japanese.

Granted Chinese manufacturing culture and business attitudes are not equal to Japanese, but I do see Chinese products improving slowly.

Food my local Lotus doesn't carry, or can't stock the shelves when supply is gone.

No other store in Phimai. Sure would be a great opportunity for a TOPS, MACRO,  or another

grocery store. There is one other store, but it is set up for Thai commercial - restaurants and such.

Makro yes, but not Tops, they are way over the top "pun intended" with most of the prices of their food products, there are two huge Tops supermarkets in the two cities nearest to me, they are mostly empty with the staff always, and I mean always outnumbering the shoppers, how they stay in business I do not know.

I agree .... maximum usage 6-12 months until it stops working.  So then buy again.

Buy, use, breaks,  rinse ... repeat ....

Fan x 3,  Kettle x 3, Toaster,  Sandals x 5,  Power meter,  Mobile x 4,  grill & pot cooker, Tablet x 2, Soldering iron, Pliers, Chair, air pump,  Lights x 5,

USB extension, Power lead,  Power board extension, USB plugs

All  Chinese quality .....  :vampire:

I bought a pair of sandles from Lazada about 3 years ago and they are still as strong as ever today, when I bought similar at Lotus or Big C, they only lasted a few months and the costs are similar.

I find it very hard to find a travel agent in Thailand yet in the UK they are full of them, why is that? Before the Chinese Virus Bangkok was full of them, they closed and never opened back up again.

oh look, it is 2002 already

Actually it's 2024. Some of us prefer solid media we can choose from. A collection. Kinda hard to put 50,000 cd's on a phone, and if you lose the phone or it stops working.

you are the man!

good to have a hobby, innit?

Of course, but two I do have I can't do here. Hunting isn't allowed, and fishing isn't good besides some of the coastal areas and private lakes.

I see, thanks for sharing.

I can understand how an avid outdoorsman like yourself would be attracted to collecting and growing a hill of plastic.

I don't understand how they correlate. I love music, always have, many styles, and collect the best of those. I can go to my collection and take a box of cd's I'd like to hear while driving somewhere, which is the main place where I listen to them. I do also collect Dvd's, fishing equipment and hunting gear for the same reason. Part time entertainment.
