Why Kamala Harris was always destined to lose
Trump is the true Marxist. His use of disinformation and propaganda is right out of their playbook. So is his adoration of dictators. -

Savannakhet visa appointment
Hi all does anyone have recent experience with Savannakhet embassy doing Non-O Marriage 1 year with new appointment system.Have an appointment but time says from 0900 to 1100 where as Vientaine gives a time slot for each booking. Is it just the normal roll up and join enormous line sit out in the sun scenario that it used to be or do they send in certain amount at a time? My no ends in 79. Appreciate any comments. Don't slam my door, its time to meet thy maker, have some of that. Well, that's about the jest of it. Let's hope he's done for attempted murder, although he's probably been released already. -

Restaurant Owner Exposes Corrupt Officials, Left with Only 2,000 Baht
He spent a fortune in bribes because he didn't have a business license. He should have employed a lawyer to obtain the license for him. Doesn't condone the crooked cops and town hall crooks. -

Why Kamala Harris was always destined to lose
I agree that she doesn't seem to have a particularly coherent message but when you contrast her to Trump, who's cognitive faculties have been on the decline for a few years now, she comes across as a blazing genius, a or a nuclear physicist. Trump comes across the schoolyard dummy. -

Foreigner Wrecks Chiang Mai Stall After Smoking Ban Warning
It wasn't , it was Air BnB and the changing of tourism . Tourists previously stayed in hotels by the beach, all confined to one area . Then AirBnB came along and tourists began staying in AirBnBs all over town . Local landlords converted their long term rental properties into short term BnBs . That caused a shortage in local Condos available for locals for long term renting and that caused a price rise , pricing locals out the market and locals cannot afford to live there anymore , hence the protests against tourists . Nothing to do with Drunken Brits fighting in bars -

MRT 20-baht bonanza: MRT hits the jackpot for commuters
No, you're wrong. I am no fan of this puppet government but it's a good policy. They have started with the lines they can control: Red Line is SRT owned (state enterprise), the Purple Line is run by the MRTA (state enterprise). Also consider purple and red lines were under used so capacity is not a problem. All other lines are currently privately owned and run and as such the government can not impose fares other than what was stipulated in their contracts. Hopefully one day they can sort out agreeable compensation with those private enterprises and have a flat 20 baht across the whole network. It's a good start.
