Popular Post Georgealbert Posted October 28 Popular Post Posted October 28 A video capturing a brawl between Thai locals and Arab tourists on Patong Beach, Phuket, is gaining rapid attention on social media after surfacing online. The confrontation, which erupted from a beach volleyball match gone wrong, involved physical altercations using punches, brooms, and branches, prompting widespread criticism over tourist behaviour. The altercation occurred on October 27, when Arab tourists and a group of Thais started playing volleyball around 17.00, setting a friendly but competitive rule that required the losing side to leave the court, allowing the winners to continue playing. However, tensions flared when the Arab team, after losing, allegedly refused to exit the court, sparking a heated argument that quickly escalated into a physical fight around 19:30. Patong Police on October 28, stated no formal complaint had been lodged. Mr. Ko, the individual who filmed and shared the video on Facebook, confirmed the details of the incident and said that, while unsure of any serious injuries, he decided not to report it to the authorities. He emphasised that his intention in posting the video was to highlight the need for restraint among tourists and discourage any future violent behaviour. As the video circulates widely, discussions on social media reflect a mix of concern and frustration from locals and tourists alike, calling for better management of beach activities to prevent such incidents from happening again. So, as usual the family of Muhammad can´t follow their own rules. What´s new? We can also see the little weasel Arab guy moving away, just to run around and punch from behind. 10 hours ago, Georgealbert said: As the video circulates widely, discussions on social media reflect a mix of concern and frustration from locals and tourists alike, calling for better management of beach activities to prevent such incidents from happening again. Can not call for better management of these guys. The only thing working is deportation.<removed> 3 5 1 1 9

Popular Post Woke to Sounds of Horking Posted October 28 Popular Post Posted October 28 SORE LOSERS. Fine, deport, ban for 1 year. Was there something in the convid jab that's making people behave so irrationally these days? 1 1 1
Popular Post steven100 Posted October 29 Popular Post Posted October 29 oh dear Georgealbert, we don't know the full story .... I don't believe a fight would start just because they wouldn't leave after losing. There's more to the story not being told truthfully as usual here. mis-communication perhaps ? anyway Geaorgealbert, this is very childish by both sides. imo 3
khunpin Posted October 29 Posted October 29 The dwarf in a blue shirt is the perfect example of a tall, well trained Volleyballer ... 🤦🏼♂️ 2

CLW Posted October 29 Posted October 29 I'd bet in their home country these people wouldn't behave like that. So why they are doing it here? 1 2

In my 67 years, I have played a lot of sports, organized and unorganized. I can tell you that I ran into people like that BOY numerous times. The only difference was that there were people around who could either control him or get him out of the area. One thing I am certain of, though, is that it was not just the loss but probably something either said or done that caused him to be upset. 3
Aleksey75 Posted October 29 Posted October 29 So, if there was no "formal complaint", the police didn't interfere with the fight at all?! 1
Dave0206 Posted October 29 Posted October 29 Very boring 😴 please if a proper ladies fight breaks out I will be more interested Brazil v thailand for example
NobbyClarke Posted October 29 Posted October 29 Hand bags at dawn!! Probably a lot more to this story than anyone will ever know (or card) Nevermind, hopefully something more interesting tomorrow.

Gobbler Posted October 29 Posted October 29 We know the Arabs started it? How do we know this? How easily this "press," blamed the foreigners and not the local Thais who played 50 in this battle. Utter nonsense, all of it. 1 1

PETERTHEEATER Posted October 29 Posted October 29 Fake news. Anyone who has worked in the Middle East knows that in physical altercations fists are never used, The weapons of choice are one of ech assailants dusty sandals delivering slaps.😀 1 1
zackxx Posted October 29 Posted October 29 Probably miscommunication. Did the Arabs know they had to vacate the court if they lost or was it just assumed they understood the Thai team's rules? And what team were using the court first? If the Arab team then why follow the "rules" of the Thai team that came later? I doubt both teams arrived at the same time. 1

Nobody is making you stay. 1
Johno57 Posted October 29 Posted October 29 It seems you have a lot of issues all in the same mindset as well as politics , racism & islamaphobia...seems like you need some meditation combined with medication & therapy before you spin out completely.. 1 1 1
Aussie999 Posted October 29 Posted October 29 The article points to the Arabs starting, but hey, it takes two, and we know how hot headed thai males are, so I take a bystanders word with a pinch of salt, and with language barriers. 2

Let´s say like this, I am born in Sweden and lived in my home country without the need to segregate. Now I lived in Thailand over 25 years and accept how things are done here. 1

That true, because I can vioce my opinion among foreigners in Thailand. Among Thai people, I just let it be and go with the flow.
