Transformer Fire Spreads, Completely Destroys Home in Pathum Thani

In the early hours of November 2, a transformer exploded and caught fire, which spread to a nearby residence, reducing it to ashes. 

 

At approximately 04:30 Khlong Luang Municipality firefighters received a report of a house fire in the 78 Phatthana Community, Moo 8, Khlong Nueng Subdistrict, Khlong Luang District.

 

The Khlong Luang fire department immediately dispatched multiple fire trucks along with emergency medical teams from Tha Khlong Municipality and personnel from the Poh Teck Tung Foundation to the scene. Officers worked to contain the blaze, which had already engulfed the entire house by the time they arrived and were successfully in preventing it spreading to nearby buildings.

 

It took firefighters over an hour to contain the fire in the wooden structure and the owner, in a state of shock was treated for minor burn injuries and smoke inhalation.

 

The situation was closely monitored by Police Lieutenant Waranchai Sukying from Khlong Luang Police Station, who is investigating the cause of the initial transformer fire that led to the house being destroyed. 

 

Local authorities are coordinating with power company officials in the investigation and looking to prevent similar incidents and ensure the safety of nearby residents.
