Not just tears, but action!

The exodus begins.

Ellen Degeneres and his/her/their/they's "wife" have announced they are leaving the Republic of California for the UK because Trump.

Is this the death knell for the American experiment?

Will more Hollyweird star-adjacent types leave our shores?

How ever will we survive without him/her/they/them/those/thus?

Can Trump force Oprah and Whoopie to remain in country?

It's not me crying about 2020, it's the MAGAs, including in this thread (as expected)! 😀

It’s your post I replied to.  No MAGA posts.

We're not crying about 2020. We're looking out hopefully, towards the (MAGA) future.

Woo-hoo!

As the Trump haters leave the US, America wins, but their destinations lose.

Even the General who left behind billions in military equipment in Afghanistan and called Trump a facist has had a change of heart.

Don't fall for the propaganda.

Did he actually say that?

There's that special phrase again, that allows "journalists" to sneak in falsehoods and avoid accountability.

Milley says America will 'be okay' under Trump, after reportedly saying he was 'fascist to the core'

There's no record of him saying this, there's no video clip, there's no citation from a speech.  But there's a "report" of some operative who claims to be familiar with a source who knows of someone who allegedly related an anecdote of the good general saying something to this effect.

It's not a lie!  Journalist didn't claim he said it, only references a hint of a rumor.

Clever!

Oh stop!

There is an on record interview audio tape of him saying that.

It was widely released.

Citation needed.

There are "reports" that claims of him saying that may appear in a "forthcoming" book.  There are no audio tapes that I am aware of.

It all started with a "report" in the WSJ that has been picked up and repeated by the usual suspects.

Trump is ‘fascist to the core,’ Milley says in Woodward book

Retired Gen. Mark A. Milley warned that former president Donald Trump is a “fascist to the core” and “the most dangerous person to this country” in new comments voicing his mounting alarm at the prospect of the Republican nominee’s election to another term, according to a forthcoming book by Washington Post associate editor Bob Woodward.

Thanks for your "confirmation." but I'll wait until Trump's cranial landlord gets back to me with a link to the audiotape of the fine general saying it.

After all, it was "widely released", thus, shirley, should have no difficulty in doing that simple task.

After that, perhaps we can discuss our brave generals phone calls with a certain Chinese gentleman of the PLA persuasion.

You must be disappointed. In 2020, at this time of the year, we experienced a barrage of MAGA posts whining about massive voter fraud, getting wet at every Kraken style lawsuit (which all ultimately failed), and so on.

Nothing like that now. Dems are not whining about imaginary fraud, are not chanting "stop the steal", and are certainly not going to assault the Capitol! 😀

Where in the blue heavens did 15 million voters go?

So, -15 million Harris voters just fail to materialize (no, California vote totals will not make up this deficit) while Trump ends up with similar numbers as 2020 and I'm not allowed to wonder if this isn't due to something nefarious? Hundreds of thousands of votes in very blue counties across many crucial states just don't materialize while Trump holds pretty steady? The highest rated and most consistently accurate pollster (Selzer) and an incredibly reliable predictor (Lichtman) were suddenly and incomprehensively so very very wrong? No, I don't think pali-protest "no votes" would account for this, and, no, I simply can't imagine Dems not caring enough about the outcome to the point where they just stay home en mass. Believe me, I'm am trying really hard not to slide into conspiracy theory territory, but this issue being so consistent and prevalent across so many states just doesn't jive what the national dem enthusiasm and my personal logic would suggest. Help me make sense of it...please.
