They lost simply as she was an idiot, nobody knew her policies and the public had had enough of the left wing lunacy.

With Trump they had some hope of change, the idiot they only had more of the same lunacy

There were many dem mistake the first was not having a primary.  Even though trump was a runaway they still had a primary and trump won without playing actively. Joe might have won but then they would have had a primaried person to put in his place.

Kamala was the border czar how did that work

She wouldn't face the press

Hillary showed that celebrities bring money but aren't going to bring votes

She listened to Barry and should have listened to Bill

Many people don't like trump but the one thing they remembered was that they were better off when he was in charge and were safer

I have never denied any economic indicator. My point has always been that inflation and price of energy are global phenomenon which have affected each and every country, and are not specific to the U.S. And also posted the relevant data about it.

This is the main reason why all incumbents have lost vote shares in these countries, or even have been outvoted as in UK.

The "great" aspect of the U.S. economy is that no other large developed country, confronted with similar levels of inflation, has enjoyed so much post-pandemic GDP growth. Compared to 2019, growth in the U.S. has been around 2 times higher than Canada, 2.5 times higher than the Eurozone, and 3.5 times higher than UK or Japan. (I have posted the data several times, I can repost it if you wish.)

I am delighted that you believe the economy is why Harris got spanked.

Please Lord, let the left keep up their idiocy until after the midterms.

Weak black woman against charismatic white man.

It almost like the democrats wanted to lose that election.

People almost always favor men to women in leadership positions.

They almost always favor white to colored.

They almost always favor charisma to nerdism.

It is what it is.

Wrong.

Trump lost Illinois because of Chicago.  Soybeans do not come from Chicago.  They come from downstate Illinois.

Downstate Illinois voted Red with the exception of Champlain-Urbana, not surprising .

Home of the University of Illinois where leftist professors indoctrinate their ideology to the easily manipulated.

Worthy mention to East Saint Louis, IL.  One giant ghetto so naturally they go blue.

Soybean country.  All red.

Illinois:

2012 Obama ~17%
2016 Clinton ~17%
2020 Biden ~17%
2024 Harris -9%

And dude’s talking about soybeans

But the conversation quickly veered off course when she was asked what she would have done differently from President Joe Biden. Her answer, "Not a thing comes to mind," turned into a Republican attack ad and highlighted the difficulties her campaign faced in securing a victory over Donald Trump on Tuesday.

A textbook example of what went wrong.  She says that things are bad and are going to get better, forgets that she's part of what has been going on for the last four years, then goes off on a meaningless negative rant about how bad Trump is.

Failed to resonate would put it mildly...  🙄

Had she been honest from the get she’d have done much better and might have won.

Had she come clean on the border and admitted they never should have canceled Trump’s policies, and had she admitted crime was a problem, and had she promised to reverse the Title IX changes they pushed through she might have won.

I think Harris laughing at “they’r eating the cats” and the press making hay with it likey helped Trump a good bit.

Anyone undecided that watched the VP debate was more likely to go for Trump.

It just becomes clearer every day the the media are in the bag for the left and they are liars.

The sad part is that you don't even realize you are echoing Putin's messages.

Still obsessed with your Putin fetish we see.

This may help you get through the night.

I’ll even quote your messiah Harris.  “ A friend in need is a friend indeed “

Consider me your friend.  I’m here to help.

I think that had the administration been honest about the economy, it would have been much less an issue.

The dishonesty of the Administration and the press was the biggest issue.

Harris was a terrible candidate, and her dishonesty made it worse.

No one believes the left anymore, You guys need to tighten things up a bit.

So just like that, per the Administration, Trump is no longer a fascist or a criminal.

Does Biden pardon Hunter or Trump?

It doesn't make sense. If voters cared about honesty, they would not have elected Trump! 😃

And Trump can, thinks with his small head, can't control his mouth, tells ridiculous lies to impress the numpty voters..............🤕.................:coffee1:

It's not about the winner, but look at the difference. Hillary lost, but she was very close. This time people voted to "no to democrats". I won't be surprised if democrats lose both congress and senate as well.

Not a fan of Hillary, and she was a hard leftist, but should make it through an interview without sounding like a moron.

You don't follow the news very well.

They lost the senate already and congress republicans need 5 more seats, but they are leading on 10 of the 20 that haven't been called yet.

Hopefully the GOP wins the house as well, as this time it won't be a hostile house like the first time.

The Dems and the liberal loonies need to be afraid, very afraid. With both the senate and house GOP Trump will be able to do things he was not able to achieve the first time.

Is it too much to expect the end of wokeness and PC?

Just watching a program on Al Jazeera where the MSM talking heads try to make excuses for Harris's rout. What a rabble of losers they are. There are probably as many reasons for her loss as there are voters for Trump, but the main one IMO is that she was a really, really bad candidate. Why the Dem leaders actually thought she was a good candidate exposes them for the idiots that they are, IMO.

They probably don't believe it themselves, but without some excuse, no matter how pathetic, they would have to accept that Harris lost because she was a rotten candidate, and the Dem leaders were idiots to impose her into the campaign. I doubt they will accept that, having supported her unconditionally till the bitter end. It would make them also look like fools for supporting a terrible candidate.
