Popular Post snoop1130 Posted November 7 Popular Post Posted November 7 Another clash between a group of Thai transwomen and a foreign man was reported on Tuesday in the Patong area of Phuket. The motive for the incident remains unknown. The Phuket Times shared a video of the physical altercation between the transgender group and the foreigner yesterday, November 6. The page captioned the video, “Again! Patong. Ladyboys gang attacked a foreign tourist.” Further details of the case were provided in the comments section, where it was stated that the altercation occurred on Phra Baramee Road in the Patong area of Phuket on Tuesday night. The video, shared in the comments, showed the group of transwomen gathered around a red baht bus parked in the left lane of the road. The foreign man appeared to be attempting to escape from them inside the vehicle. It seemed that the foreign man had a dispute with the driver over the fare, causing the vehicle to stop, allowing the transwomen to continue the physical altercation. The foreign man then exited the vehicle, prompting one of the transwomen to repeatedly strike him with her fists. He returned to the vehicle briefly but then got off again, after which the vehicle left the scene. The transwomen immediately approached him and attempted to attack him again, prompting him to run to the opposite side of the road. However, he could not get far and was struck multiple times by the transwomen before the video cut off. Since the motive behind the assault was not revealed in the report, Thai netizens shared their opinions and speculations in the comments. “Foreigner failed to pay for their services or cancelled after realising they were ladyboys.” “Definitely a money issue.” “If that foreign man did not cause trouble, they would not have done this.” Some netizens urged the transwomen to remain calm and avoid resorting to violence to resolve issues, as it could harm Thai tourism. Others supported the transwomen, remarking that many “bad foreigners” come to Phuket nowadays. By Petch Petpailin Photo via Facebook/ Phuket Times ภูเก็ตไทม์ Source: The Thaiger -- 2024-11-07 3 10

Popular Post thesetat2013 Posted November 7 Popular Post Posted November 7 These ladyboys are off the chain.. Something wrong with Thai mentality lately thinking it is ok to attack foreigners for even a simple misunderstanding. What is worse is that when they are caught on video and the police actually get out of their office to do something. The only thing they do is collect cash and let the attackers go with a warning. Assault is Assault. Does not matter the reason for it unless defending ourself. Those ladyboys as well as others who attack people with violence should be arrested, charged and convicted and go to jail for awhile. 4 2 11

Popular Post willip Posted November 8 Popular Post Posted November 8 I was in patong for 3 years. I was a manager of a ladyboy bar. The katoys are well known for fighting and stealing! 2 of them picked my pockets pretending they were having a joke at my expense. I didn't realize until I got a motorcycle taxi. Too late. They were on a motorcycle. I also was having a night-time swim with a girl friend FARRANG. the beach had alot of katoys around. I kept my eye on my clothes on a sunlounger. But thy still took my cash! My fault I know. Onof the katoys in my bar stole from a customer. Who was with a large Russian man. He hit the katoy. I got involved that's how I learned she stole from them. Lesson learned. They can be fun! But never take alot of money 💰 with you.we all do get drunk and have fun. But they are out there making a living!!! . Some anyway they can. ESPECIALLY the hotspots. GO CAREFUL. When confronted they can be very violent. You won't get much help from the police. It's business as usual for them. Believe me I know. 1 1 2

Frankie baby Posted November 8 Posted November 8 I've always called Patong "Rat City". Seems theirs the same number of rats above the ground than under. Surly its time for a crack-down on the lady boys, their a law to themselves at the present.
Popular Post AngryMan Posted November 8 Popular Post Posted November 8 The old advert, "I can't believe it's not Butter" can also be used in the case of Ladyboys, just change one word and bingo you have nailed it! Or maybe not! You have to hand it to them though, they have some balls attacking men in the street like that! Maybe they should have a warning printed on a T-shirt saying: "Caution may contain Nuts!" 5

Thingamabob Posted November 8 Posted November 8 Violent robbery, and violence for other reasons, occurs all over the world. In this case, however, I doubt the foreigner would be attacked unless he had done something to cause it. 1
