Its the Thai way, the majority of Thais cannot be educated to do the right thing.  Viva the land of lies and safety last, may the children and teachers that died in the Bangkok bus infurno.  RIP!

True determination to the job. Hard to find, nowadays.

No, it is easy to find stupidity and danger in the land of lies, only joking, this country is amazing with amazing people.

Looking at the photo seems the delivery driver doubles up as the local Postman

In my experience the postal service is far more efficient than any of the courier services, and they know where your house is , so no need for several phone calls seeking directions

Great way to transport the mattress.  It not only acts as a sun-shade for the rider, making it easier for him to watch videos on his phone while riding, it would also keep him dry when it rains.  It's all good!  🤣 🤣 🤣

It also ticks the 'must wear a helmet' box, definitely all good.

Full marks for using his initiative.

Given me encouragement to use the honda click for picking up a road bike from the repair shop.

Should be a doddle in comparison to a mattress.

... and guarantees a soft landing if he comes off :whistling:

Back in the mid 90s I saw a Korean delivery chap in Seoul with a full-size fridge-freezer on a bike, another chap had his bike fitted out to carry glass panes!!

I'm just surprised there wasn't a Thai stowaway on top having a little nap 😴

Got to applaud the service in this instance.

Why not. You use the tools you have. Once saw someone delivering a full size refrigerator once (in Vietnam). I've seen far more dangerous loads on pickups and 22 wheelers on Thai highways traveling at speed

A delivery rider found himself in a humorous predicament when tasked with transporting a 6-foot mattress on his motorcycle. The unexpected delivery, which took place yesterday, November 6, in Chachoengsao province, left the customer so impressed by the courier’s determination that he tipped the rider several hundred baht

Can't keep a good man down..

TBH I really feel sorry for these people who resort to these dangerous acts, just to make a living.

For some of us, it may be funny, or even call them stupid... but, that is a real life situation.
