Buying a house w 12mo lease on it?

Featured Replies

Is it possible to get tenant out legally so I can move in?

Best way to do w/o fighting? Maybe pay him some THB?

Thanks.

Look at the rent contract. Should be a clause saying you need to give them 1 month notice.

Oh, can be that easy? And cheap? Great. Thank you!

If they have a 12 month contract, it's 12 months that's the point of it, then it's 1 month

We rent our Pattaya house for 12 months contract, but have a clause that says we or they can give 1 month notice to leave.

We're in Pattaya now cause our renter just left suddenly. Said they went back to England, but really they had a gambling den here and the police raided.

Stupid people, left his name and some of the gambling stuff and accounting books behind.

I found out the owner is in hospital getting chemotherapy for cancer.

One think I learned from my ex wife's Japanese father who was very successful in life;

"Newer use somebody's bad situation for your economical gain! Karma will get you..."

I do believe it. So I let that go.

Condo on the beach may be the best for me anyway. No head ache w land leases etc.
