After an intense three-day search, the body of 15-year-old Chokun, a special needs child who had gone missing from his home, was discovered floating in water on November 9, approximately 4 kilometres from his village in Ban Bueng District, Chonburi Province.

A local resident, who had been gathering morning glory near the water, spotted the body and immediately alerted authorities. Rescue teams and medical personnel arrived at the scene, and the body has since been transported to the forensic unit for an autopsy to determine the cause of death.

The case has drawn significant community attention, with many expressing condolences and concerns over the safety of special needs individuals.

Further investigations are ongoing to establish the circumstances surrounding Chokun’s death.

Sadly for his family, we will probably never know.

Special needs requires special help, that costs money and sometimes even then is not available.

Sad for the family

family sad? with no help from anyone? burden for life?

I saw docu long time ago, from  a special need kid, that , by his mother account. raped her once and a while when he got horny... and the dude, even a teen with the mental age of a pre teen in the body of a man... she could not fight back and no institution to place him, sad story.. in cases like that, or when you have a hopeless addicted (man)child that is violent, ... not much of a loss...   he would not have been the pension fund thai parents wanted or hoped...   rest in peace...
