A family dispute took a violent turn on November11, when a 51 year old man, Mr. Panudet, attacked his partner's son with a knife after a heated argument. The incident occurred at a small convenience store on Soi Sup Boon Chai, Bang Mueang Subdistrict, Samut Prakan, around 19:10.

The shop owner, a 72-year-old woman who has been in a relationship with Mr. Panudet for over a year, explained that recent tensions had led her to stay at her son's home to avoid conflict. However, she was frustrated when Mr. Panudet invited friends to drink at her shop in her absence. Upon her son's return from work, she asked him to talk to Mr. Panudet, hoping he would leave the premises peacefully.

The elder son, Mr. San, 50, recounted that his mother had asked him to speak with Mr. Panudet and request him to leave. Upon arriving, he found Mr. Panudet drinking with three friends and noticed a knife nearby, which he moved away to prevent any issues. However, during the conversation, Mr. Panudet retrieved the knife and attempted to strike Mr. San. In the scuffle, Mr. San's younger brother, Mr. Phichawat, was injured while trying to intervene.

Local police have detained Mr. Panudet and are interviewing witnesses to clarify the events. Mr. Phichawat will also provide his statement after he has fully recovered from his injuries, allowing authorities to proceed with legal action.
