Unfortunate you will not look at factual content. Australia is also more expensive to live after Covid. IMO much to do with price gauging which the government is finally acting upon with the supermarkets. Would MAGA accuse Biden of being a Marxist if he attempted to intervene with the markets, probably Yes. If trump, No.

Has Trump said he would intervene with the markets? I don't recall him saying he would. Harris had that stupid idea of fixing prices and giving lots of people other people's money.

trump claims he will make everyone's life better, so how will he do that if not by making changes to economic policy (the markets)

Its not price gauging, its inflation. Kamala wasnt going to fix that, she was going to print money until half the population became homeless

Trump has inherited a “turd of an economy,” and when things “roll over,” he’ll be the one blamed for it

He will simply "roll it in glitter" and then claim it is all due to his inspired leadership.

While the economy may not be terrible it certainly is not good, regardless of what the studies show. There are a half dozen reasons why the stock market is pumped up as artificially high as it is, and the lack of consumer confidence tells the real story. I have a business in America as do many of my friends and we see the real truth.

Will Trump's policies do anything to improve the economy? We'll see, time will tell, personally I think his tariff policies are nothing but a massive tax hike on the American people and will lead not only to potential economic devastation, but much higher inflation.

Personally I find it extraordinarily weird for people and elements of the media to support trump world and it's constant lies, misinformation and outright disinformation. But you're correct many members on this forum are of the same mould from MAGA world.

What lies, misinformation and outright disinformation

Donald Trump has convinced many Americans that the economy is terrible, but a new analysis shows that's just as false as his election fraud claims that fueled the Jan. 6 insurrection.

No matter who was in the White House, why would they be responsible for a high unemployment rate at the height of Covid?  This was the reason for the UI handouts.

Embracing easy answers over hard truths doesn’t say much about intelligence

As in your own case. The hard truth is that things were a lot better under Trump. All the fake news, leftist social media, gaslighting, leftist academics, DNC, corrupt political lawfare and convictions, censorship, constant barrage of lies, dire predictions, and name-calling, rewriting of history, pandering vote-buying, divisive racial and gender politics, assassination attempts, and a $1 billion campaign chest buying Beyoncé, Oprah, and Bruce Springsteen won't change that hard truth.

It's too obvious and easy to understand.

As you illustrate here frequently. Embracing leftism is about power, not intelligence, and so the need for brainwashing in schools, censorship, fake news, and posturing as superiors. Hence your nemesis Trump. And both Houses, and leftist mayors and DAs getting voted out. Enough is enough.

Debt at new highs, excessive out of control spending, social security needs stable long term funding, Expensive Healthcare and Prescription Drugs compared to similar country, people complaining about inflation, high Rent/Homeowner costs.

Is the OP a BOT or just not drink enough coffee and let his Brain wakeup.

Trump says something but actually means another similar thing sometimes, probably what OP read, or

heard.

Whatever your opinion of the new US President he is our President for next 4 years.

Focus on what we can contribute to improve our situation, help or benefit others, educate others without all the Drama and Theatrics just slows down progress and gets in the way of people actually doing Work.

That would absolutely not be your message if Harris had won. Your side would never be out of the lawyer's offices trying everything possible to run interference.

Yes, but life has to have meaning. Nobody wants to listen to boring old men, so they read fake news and parrot it back in rants on forums to feel important and as if they know something.

We need a thread here just for calling Trump names w/o the phony excuses for doing so. Much simpler, direct, and really the only point.

When will the lefties learn that although name calling might make them feel better, it's facts like a sound economy, secure border, common sense as opposed to woke nonsense etc that wins elections. Listening to constant lefty bile on the media, hearing it from Hollywood and sports personalities doesn't endear them to the voting public. They should try sensibly analysing this Republican landslide and then maybe they'll realise this.

Unconstitutional laws and orders by either party should, and will be, challenged in court. Political lawfare hasn't been a Trump/Republican modus operandi and was never a big problem until Biden/Harris. Trump probably won't engage it except to root out the corruption and those responsible, as much as possible. Or so we might hope.

What? Trump tried to get Clinton prosecuted. You guys are really living in a world of alternative facts. He never produced evidence of corruption against her. Or Biden Jr. It was always a big witch hunt. Watch Biden pardon the lot of them. Trump has declared an enemies list.

A post again referring to something that is not a recognised medical condition but rather an urban phrase, has been removed.

Refer to forum rules, as It is just being used as a means to belittle or mock individuals with differing political views. Such usage is inherently derogatory and contributes to a toxic conversational environment.

Trump is quite right to be taking Americans as idiots.

Because they are.

Now they have served their purpose, they will be tossed under the bus. The gap between haves and have-nots will widen, while the propaganda mill pumps out claims of how good everything is.

The turkeys voted for Christmas. It's coming.

Trumps propaganda mill is 15% of the Democrat one. That's been pumping lies and covering for JB last 4 years nonstop

So people paying 30% more for groceries now is just a myth then? Jan 6th was a demonstration, an insurrection involves weapons. Nice to see muslims voting for Trump, they are not all clueless.
