Why is it so different in Thailand?

 

ps. The dowry was 200,000 and some gold. The wife was a stunner. An oldie, but a goodie. Nice big set of bolt-ons.
 

 

 

 

Hey the bar girls are not all stupid.  Most of the young ones do it for the money and to see if they can snag a rich farang to look after them.  The middle-aged ones realize that they can't do this for the rest of their lives and need something else.  So they find a boyfriend or husband.

 

I had one girl tell me that she would be mine and look after me, but she wanted 20k a month.

The only things I post about bars are what I experienced myself. If it's hearsay or what I read, I'll say that.

I don't remember how many I went with over many decades, but over a couple hundred at least. However I wasn't drunk when I chose, and I took my time to choose, so perhaps that is why the bad ones were less than fingers on one hand.

I cringe when I read some of the claims posted about BGs on AN, as it's such BS.

Also about how non BG "good" Thai women are out there just waiting for some non Thai speaking farang to bang her. The ones that are not working, are probably on the game.

I don't hate prostitutes. The ones I knew well were nicer than the non prostitutes I know well ( in many cases ).

I don't even hate women- they can't be blamed for obeying their genetic imperatives. Most men are controlled by their genetic imperatives, which are contradictory to female ones.

My problem was that I didn't learn early enough that being in a romantic relationship was a very bad idea.

 

I'm grateful to the prostitutes in my life. They did what they were paid to do and went away after- no romance involved.

I didn't claim you where, I know you very well from this forum and many of your posts, but general many do on this forum. They seems to despise bar girls, but happy to use their services. 

 

Quite  a few times random guys who advised me (somehow took me for being a newbie) how to use bar girls, and Thai women for that sake. Smartasses is everywhere

Where do you shop.  I have never in 15 years seen girls that are 1000-1500 for long time

 

As to the 20 k, it depends on how you look at it and what is included.  You also have to remember that these girls realize that we old guys will die before them so they need money to save for the future.

 

Next time you are on Suk, ask one of the girls how much for a week.  I think you will be surprised.

Well, I suppose it is a natural progression, they are out to make money piecemeal to start with, and if they can get even more money out of the mugs then the thing to do is to marry them and make them spend all their money on just them instead of letting the old guy spend on others.

 

Most of these guys could never pull a regular woman so a prostitute is all the choice they have. 

 

It works even better if the guy works abroad for a few months at a time so the woman can have two or three husbands in tow at the same time.

 

I am amazed at how many of these guys fall for the old stories they are told, I am poor, have to feed the family, etc, many women are poor in Thailand but they would never resort to selling themselves in that way,  but it does make me laugh though when it all ends in doom and gloom with the guy ending up broke.

My choices in home country at the age I got married were solo mothers or grannies.

I chose to marry a Thai 20 years younger than myself that I liked to see when I woke up in the morning, as not a wrinkly old bag with stretch marks and brats that annoyed me.

 

The only mistake I made was marrying the wrong 20 years younger than myself Thai woman.
