Spy camera

Featured Replies

Now since I had a blackout a couple of weeks ago my Thai wife insisted to install a camera so she can watch me all day long when she is at work. I don't feel ok about it how would you feel being watched all day long ?

You can get a Nest cam and let your wife insure you are safe.

Yes, I too would be ok if I had a blackout.

Did you find out the cause for your blackout?

You can buy a smart watch which with emergency call button? Should be some senior alarm monitoring functions to.

I'd be more concerned to find out the cause of the blackout,

Did you suffer any head trauma?

I talk from a very recent experience. I was at work 3 weeks ago when I apparently got all tangled up in an aircraft tow bar and head butted  the deck. After that I have snippets of memory.

A co-worker drove me home, then my wife drove me to the ER. I sort of remember them doing a CT scan, then nothing.

It was a concussion and brain swelling.

Took a couple of weeks for everything to get back to normal, but scary as Hell.

I'd be going to the Doctor before worrying about spy cams

Perhaps she caught on to your excuse of using blackout while you went dark. I’d suggest she get you fitted with a chastity belt.

Thumbs up for your post, because we are in the lounge here where everything goes and because I suspect that the OP started this topic precisely for our amusement.

Also for his amusement, of course, as he waited on tenterhooks for replies that he could then use to chide the posters with a comment like "Another nonsense quote"

Come on, guys and gals, let your imagination run wild and post what he might be up to home alone while his imaginary wife is at her imaginary work, worried sick about his wellbeing (just don't get too graphic if your imagination runs in the direction of sexual activity, as otherwise this promising topic could get shut down)

Friend of mine,75 years old, had two blackouts. I told him to see a doctor.

Doctor found he had 20% heart function and riddled with cancer, but no pain.

Straight to palliative care and died three days later. Very sad.

If it were me, and I had 2 blackouts last year, I would be quite happy that my Thai cared that much about me.

Having said that my first blackout was near the kitchen, about 20 metres away, so unless there was more than one camera watching me, the idea would not work. For the second blackout my wife had gone to sleep, and I apparently woke her up because I was moaning like a ghost in a Thai soap opera.

However the principle is a good idea.

Sends message or alarm to emergency contact, and I have seen samsung had something simular. Might be other options as well. Worth to check out

The 2 or 3 main problem to that are

1   You need an Apple watch (or something similar) and you must wear it 24/7, even in the shower where many accidents happen. If you take the watch off to have a shower and don't disable the alarm. then it will go off automatically.

2   A similar thing can happen if you use a mobile instead of a watch and you fall on the floor. Maybe your mobile will be 10 metres away. If you fall and cannot reach your mobile the system is negated as you cannot make the call anyway.

3   If the system works what emergency number would you call? Your wife, the police emergency number, the ambulance emergency number? The last two would need to know who and where you are, and if you can speak enough Thai to explain the problem.

I had though at one time to get the loudest alarm bells I could ant put them outside the house and set off by a big red sort of crash alarm button so that the alarm bells would stay on until they are physically shut off.

Again it is sort of a good plan, apart from where and how many crash buttons would be needed, in how many rooms and whereabouts in each room I would put the button, and how in reality  I would have to connect the alarm buttons to the crash bells.

I think that the buttons would have to wired in parallel to a relay and then to the alarm bells.

The next problem was would I need a UPS and low voltage to make sure that the system worked in case of any power outages.

In the end I gave up as it was giving me a headache.

Obviously she does not want to see you with that dark-skinned girl. 555
