Kenny202 Posted November 20 Posted November 20 Hi all, been doing my 90 days reports online now for at least 3 years. I just renewed my parental extension and did my first online 90 days after the extension was done. It got rejected twice with a note saying report in person. My friend told me that if they don't renew your 90 days at the time of the extension the first 90 day report you do after the extension will be rejected and you need to report in person. Is that correct? If my memory serves me correctly the last few years they did renew my 90 days at extension time whether it was due or not. So just wondering of someone can refresh my memory apart from filling out the form and a copy of my passport, extension stamp and last entry slip....is there anything else I need to take?
Upnotover Posted November 20 Posted November 20 Did mine at CW last week. Completed TM47 form and passport. Nothing else. I did have copies of passport/stamps, etc, but nothing asked for.

You would need to ask the Immigration Office you use. As Upnotover says, TM47 and passport at CW My Office only requires Passport, never handed in a TM47 from before the Wu-Flu struck. I might even be correct in saying that the only TM47 I handed in was when I first moved here 1

I took all docs often listed in the various threads (safety) In reality she just wanted TM47 My passport and perhaps she took ID page of passport (can't recall)

Is that correct? Regardless of whether your IO renew your 90 day report from a new extension or not, your next due report date will be stamped on your previous TM47 receipt, which should be stapled in the back of your passport. Supporting documents for application submitted in person 1. Passport 2. Departure TM.6 card (TM.6) See sample TM.6 card 3. Notification of staying over 90 days (in case of having already notified of staying over 90 days) See sample notification 4. Fill in details in TM.47 form and sign your name See sample https://www.immigration.go.th/?page_id=1648 Edited November 20 by Liquorice

I have the last 90 day report / approval in my Passport along with the next report date which is in 12 days. It's not the issue. I just found it strange I had to report in person when I have done them continuously for 2 or 3 years without an in person visit to IO. The message back from the online rejection is obviously their routine reply but appears quite alarming to someone who wasn't aware stating you must report immediately to your local office, when infact I have at least 12 days to report. have everything together anyway and will front up tomorrow. Will be in and out in 15 minutes (less the 60km round trip). I will ask them to do what they need to do to make sure the next report can be done online. Thanks all for the help Edited November 20 by Kenny202

You will not have satisfactory answer. It seems that in recent times immigration has attempted to sync TM30 with online reporting. One option is to ignore it. Which immigration office?
dinsdale Posted November 20 Posted November 20 (edited) Passport,TM6 (departure card stapled in my passport) and the printout from the last time. Got computerised some years back now where I am so no more filling out the form every 90 days. I thought this would be a national thing but looking above maybe not.. Edit: Just thinking if you haven't been in in person for 3 years you will need to fill out the form. Then you'll get the slip. Edited November 20 by dinsdale

bigt3116 Posted November 20 Posted November 20 Totally depends on which office you use, mine in Sakon Nakhon is just your passport, they scan it and print out the receipt.
Kenny202 Posted November 21 Author Posted November 21 I turned up this morning 9.15, not a soul in the place. Had my form and copies of 6 or 7 things signed and dated. She just looked at all those and pushed them aside (I'm guessing for the round file), brought my details up on the PC and printed the next due report sheet off. In and out under 5 minutes....pretty much as reported. Makes me wonder if many foreigners have left Thailand. When I did my extension last time also only a couple of people there. Used to be so busy
pon2007 Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago Unbelievable system!! I was at Chaeng Wattana on 4 and 25 November to get my yearly extension. On 25 Nov. I got my reentry permit as well. My 90 days notification window is between 27 Nov - 18 Dec. I could not do it in person on 25 Nov. at Chaeng Wattana. When I tried to do it online after 27 Nov, I was rejected twice. I was told first-time request of a 90 days notification after entering Thailand must be in person!! CAN NOT do it online or in the mail!!. 3x I have to go to Chaeng Wattana in a month!! 50km one way. By the way there is very hard to find parking around immigration. Their new parking lot is under construction of over a year!! Total non-sense. I do online TM30. If you go in person to report 90 days, have all these with you: TM47 form, passport pages copy, TM30 notification proof, lease/rent/condo ownership documents or if you live with your wife on her property (her ID card copy, her property documents, marriage certificate). They can ask all of these, some of these or none of these.

I gave her my passport and TM47. Had lots of other items...lease etc. She didn't want anything. I had made appointment and was seen straight away. Found parking not an issue..

MeaMaximaCulpa Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Recently at Jomtien they wanted TM30 (from 2017 accepted), TM47 and PP copies.
WDSmart Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I don't know what's required for a personal visit. I pay my local Immigration department THB 1,000 each year when I get a One-year Stay Extension on my visa, and they mail me the 90-day receipts about a week before the last one expires. 1
Russell17au Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I live in Khon Kaen and I have only ever had to give a completed TM47 and my passport at the Khon Kaen office.
