Most of you people live in a Continuity Bubble.  You don't grasp how close we are to nuclear war.

Possibly,  but on the other hand the constant threat of it is also a useful tool,  for some

I don't think so. There's nothing in it for Putin. If he uses a small tactical nuke in Ukraine, let's say Dnonesk, the US, it's allies and NATO can respond with a massive conventional weapons retaliation much in excess of the damage a small tactical nuke would cause. Crimea could be flattened in a day. Of course we have got here because the lame duck Biden has decided escalation not negotiation is the way to go. I wonder what would happen if Putin uses a tactical nuke within Russia? Kursk for example.

Not the 1st time Putin has used this threat.

That's why he's being ignored now.

He’ll listen to Trump.  You should too.

Biden, not so much as he stumbles around Brazil.

I thought the narrative from the press was exactly opposite: They are brave Soldiers of Light, willing to sacrifice themselves for striving Democracy

Democracy has never been questioned in Ukraine. And the Ukrainians are brave soldiers, who sacrificed themselves for the territorial integrity of their country.

But just like the Finns in the Winter War against Stalin's murderous armies, the Ukrainians also have to deal with the fact that the enemy is vastly larger and willing to sacrifice many more humans to add land to the landmass they already control.

And just like Finland after the Winter War, Ukraine will eventually prosper, with a growing economy, close ties with the EU and a robust democracy.

Russia, on the other hand, will remain the cesspool it has always been. Only a little bigger this time, and depopulated by a few hundred thousand young people sent as cannon fodder to the front.

Laughable that Putin will wait 2 months to have a conversation with Trump. One day in a war is a long time. Innocent lives, mostly Ukraine civilians have been lost by Russia in discriminate and disproportionate missles attacks. Long range missles attacks authorised by Biden is long overdue and used to attack Russia military assets.

Oh you're back after your total loss on 5th Nov, have your heads finally stopped?

Putin called for peace talks from the beginning, could have happened on 04.22, but Biden refused, all deaths since are on your USA heads.

They have been exposed for being the weak ass punk b*tches that they truly are.  Russians talk a big game but are so inept and corrupt to be a joke, literally, to the real players.  An annoyance, to be tolerated, at best.

Poor Vlad. His conventional weapons have proven such a disappointment on the battlefield that all he has left is to brag about his nuclear arsenal, in the hope the world takes him seriously.

What's really amusing is that most of those saying that Ukraine should surrender are the same ones who happily label the French "surrender monkeys".

Apples and oranges.

Surrender or negotiate, or WW3, nuclear winter.... gee, tough choice.

Russia just launched the first wartime ICBM armed with Multiple Independently-targetable Reentry Vehicles (MIRVs), in this case conventionally armed.  They could be nuclear.  You people really, really don't grasp this.  The instrument to launch nuclear weapons has must been launched and has just delivered a payload to Dnipo (Dnepropetrovsk) in Ukraine destroying a missile manufacturing factory.  HELLO!!!  Russia is not bluffing.  I give it 50/50 that we all die before Jan 20, 2025.  Wanna know why? Because the average smucks in the West continue to root their governments to conquer Russia even as we are on the cusp of nuclear Armageddon.

I know. I was the 1st one to post about this and yes it was a nuclear capable ICBM. I fully grasp that it's nuke capable but obviously it wasn't armed as such. It's Putin sending a message. I can use ICBMs. He's lowered the threshold also. But it's is just Putin chest beating. He WILL NOT deploy nukes. What's the point. A ceasefire and negotiations are less than two months off. What Biden has allowed Zelenski to do is completely reckless but will neither lead to nuclear war or a conventional WWIII. If you think we have a 50% chance of being obliterated before Jan 20 then you need to take a chill pill or seek medical help. The saddest thing is what Biden has done will result in more deaths than otherwise would have been the case when the goal should be NO deaths.

Thanks. At least you acknowledge that I have a real chance to not look foolish on here.

The chance that a cynical and dishonest nature, due to an unfortunate combination of DNA, sadly denied you.
