Scouse123 Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago I can't believe he would do this. He looks such a smart guy as well.

Same with Dubai. Seems like they are getting lax as well. A smarter move by them would be to have known he was carrying it, having been alerted by dogs or other technology, and letting him go back to his home country so as to avoid wasting money prosecuting and jailing him. Contact his home country and let them know he's on his way and let them deal with all the financial burden he's gonna cause the legal system/taxpayers. 1 1
ronster Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago How did he get it on the plane in Thailand and did he actually stay in Dubai and then check in there with the weed or was he just sitting in the airport for a few hours ? These drug couriers like trying to get caught by stopping a lot , instead of one direct flight it seems 🙈

Yagoda Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago They need to legalize weed in Blighty. Calm your crazies down a bit and make some money. 1
radiochaser Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Regarding bags being checked in the middle east (Dubai, Qatar I don't remember which). I flew from Thailand to the Middle East, on to Europe, then on to the U.S. of A. In the middle east I was notified that I needed to go to such and such counter. When I found it and identified myself, a U.S. of A. government official advised me that my bags had been checked during the transfer from one airlines to another. She then applied a sticker to the outside of my passport. She would not tell me what they had been looking for.

It will end up being less than a year. No wonder drug smugglers try it on. No penalty at all. Until you give 20 + years or death they will keep doing it. 1

In the pre-TSA days Customs used to have large bunches of suitcase keys to hand so was just a matter of finding one that fit. New cases come with 000 as a default setting. steven100 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Well, he should be thankful he wasn't in Singapore .... zero sympathy for drug people. they chose the wrong path, and everyone knows right from wrong.

Easterneye Posted 18 minutes ago Posted 18 minutes ago Scum of the earth , given a pitiful sentence ,, Starburst will have him out for Xmas to bang up some hard right pensioners complaining about their winter heating allowance having been taken away to fund the illegals Premier Inn bills

Of course the criminal record may follow him around for a long time and cause all sorts of employment, living problems etc. But the risk reward seems ridiculous. He was only going to get 10,000? Goodness. Even a low paying entry level job could earn him that. 26 months he will only do 40% of that time due to the new law Labour just passed if he got through he would of been laughing all the way to the bank
