Are there any real Butcher's in Pattaya?

I want to have a go at making Prosciutto Cotto and need a 3kg leg of pork that looks roughly like this:

I can't see anything like it at Makro and it's way to hectic in there to start trying to explain what I need.

Are there any places to buy such a thing in Pattaya? I can order in advance, not expecting to find that off the shelf, so to speak...

Thanks in advance.

I hope these butchers are useful in your quest for Prosciutto Cotto ...

In Pattaya, I don't know, but in Bangkok have butchers who will have pork leg that size, and will send to you in Pattaya.

I frequently buy from -- and recommend -- the following butchers:

 - Sloanes

 - The Accidental Butcher

 - Paleo Robbie

5+ years of experience with each of those: all good.

Picture below is cooked, but all three above may have un-cooked, just must ask.

But be prepared, prices at those specialty butchers not the same as Makro.

  - Old Curmudgeon (in Chiang Mai)

Big C Extra on Pattaya Klang? If possible, maybe take a Thai speaker to help.

I used to see a foreigner working in the meat/butcher section.

No idea. I don't, inter-alia, eat cows, pigs, sheep or chickens. Unlike most of humanity I am disgusted by the cruelty they endure before arriving on our plates and into our mouths.
