Online Visa late

Featured Replies

What happens when your Visa arrives after you have already entered Thailand, Can it still be used or is this just lost and deleted?

My O visa was delayed for a small error and I don't think there is time to receive the notification / visa before entering.

Thoughts!

You would have to leave Thailand and return before the visa expires in order to activate it. You can't activate a visa from an embassy while inside of Thailand already.

Yes, That's what I thought but since its been a while living out side of Thailand I thought there might have been some positive changes, unlike the online application which has put me off even coming, I prefer the old days in person!

Thanks

Getting back to the so called error, the question in the online system that stipulates passport "Place of Issue" must be the country of the passport, as I was informed by the Embassy. However in my case because my passport was issued in another country where my residency is I entered the consolate and country, it seems to me to be that the people checking these applications are overlooking an important piece of information concerning where an individual is actually coming from.

eVisa has an enter "from - till" date.

You can exit and reenter Thailand during the validity window.

You will be stamped in for 90 days (seems it's a non O)
