Nah, same in Vietnam, Cambodia, and the Philippines.

Yep, I even managed to do that in the USA.

I'm starting to wonder, did most folks not have a sex life before TH.  Many are my age, soon 70 +/- 10 ish years and the 70s & 80s was a great time to be young, and years onward.

Life was, is good, even with 3 divorces & 2 live ins that lasted as long.  I was still single for about 20 year, and damn fun also, in USA & TH.

Back in the UK, sex was available but the frequency was too low for me. 3x a week was what I wanted, but 3x a month was more common even in marriage. In SEA I can have sex as often as I like, whenever I like. That makes a huge difference.

Please. America has the world's highest prison population. It has to train its schoolchildren in how to avoid getting shot. It has the world's highest cost pharmaceuticals.

Why on earth would anyone envy that?

He seems to be a nasty little fellow, at least in his assumed persona on this forum.

Maybe IRL he is as meek as a lamb.

Do Americans know what freedom is? The Americans who experience true freedom, must be those who is completely economic independence, not owned by their company or state, as well go under radar from media, and also politically free, and not impacted by either sides. Not many is it?

Poverty in Mississippi almost 20% and Britain around 17%

GDP doesn't mean <deleted>, if people do not have work, education, health care or healthy food on the table.

You make my point, the poorest state in the US has a poverty rate comparable to the UK.

Also note the other poster's graph, US 81,695 GDP and UK 48867..

I am not bragging on the USA I am just responding to the bashing by another poster.

Point is the US is a pretty good place to live.

The main problem with poverty, is lack of education, and healthy affordable choices.

Healthy food and lifestyle is not affordable,

Well, I've ticked one more year off. Life doesn't seem bad to me. A Sunday roast dinner and two pints of Guinness today. A few years ago I may have been kicking over the traces. Been there and got the teeshirt. I have a caring family and friends, here and around the world. What more do I want?

I had sex in the west, with a "good" not prostitute women. Basically missionary sex, but I didn't experience SEX till I landed in Thailand.

To use an example sex in the west was an acorn, and sex in Thailand is the entire Oak tree in all it's magnificence.

The mere idea of sex as it is in LOS would make my western ex's head explode.

IMO one can be born into poverty but those with ambition  and drive can break out of it. Being a sheeple is not conducive to bettering one's situation.

Just for your information, what you call sheeple, is what makes societies go around, and make other lives easier, so they can succeed.

I couldn't had done half of what I have done in my life, if there wasn't people who where willing to get up 5 in the morning, spend 2 hours to get to work, work 8 hours 5 days a week at monimum wages, and again, spend 2 hours back home, and at the end of the month have nothing left.

Vote labour party in hope they do what they promise, and for then, when nothing improves vote for a right wing bastard like we see know. That's a steeple, a mistreated sheeple

After divorce number 2 did you not consider that you were chasing the wrong sort of women?

Not really, as they were both great, but, we had different outlooks on the future, and independence.  They liked the security of familiarity and having family & friends close.

I had no desire to live in the same county the rest of my life.  I went where the money took me, and where I was happy.  They didn't care for that.

On the sex part of other post, I don't find women different from USA vs TH, and they like getting their freak on equally.  Some not so, hence very short relationship, in between live ins, as I'm not a patient person, nor going to try to free their mind or attitude toward sex ... next.

Always had  couple life long friends w/bennies.  Nice to have people you can rely on consistently for smiles.  Just living together wasn't going to work, for various reason.

Not really unique type of relationships, although seems many on the forum, didn't seem to have the same.   I didn't seem to have a problem meeting like minded people.  I'm not an extreme extravert, but far from an introvert, with women.  Most men, I can't relate to, as don't like talking about women, or sports, and not a car person.   Have very few life long male friends, find men extremely boring to be around.

Quite the loner when single, and seem to find the same like minded when looking.  Have no desire to be around people that need to be around family & friends constantly.  They might actually want to have a conversation and ask my opinion.  We all know what happens then ... same as on the forum :cheesy:

Hit the nail on the head there.  Broken record, but yea, parents stone alkys, and simply having enough, wasn't always in their play book.   Enough for alcohol & cigs seemed to be the priority, aside from eating quite well, there wasn't much left over for the kids.

In that aspect, I'm chip off the ol' block, as went through a lot of low paying jobs myself, along with sex, drugs & RR hobby ... but ... I didn't have 4 kids to be responsible for.

Took a long time to get my sh!t together.  It was fun, but delayed being a responsible person.  Better role models & guidance would have been nice.  Shame I never went to therapy, I could blame everything on my parents ... :cheesy:
