December 3, 20241 yr Sorry, I did a search but no answer. I will apply at Chonburi Jomptien to renew my non- immigrant 'O' 'retirement' visa dated 25th of January. How many days before and after the date stamp am I allowed to apply? thank you.
December 3, 20241 yr 30 days before. Possibly longer with proof of travel. No allowance for after. Any day after is overstay.

December 3, 20241 yr They might allow some days after with a per day overstay fine but there are no guarantees and trying that is strongly not advised.

Good advice however can't recall a few days overstay and immigration not accepting application for extension. Indeed would receive a fine. Can't understand the OP even contemplating an application after expiry of current permission of stay. Can occur by oversight.

Even leaving it till late. Most good advice on AseanNow is to apply for extension as soon as window opens. 30 days early for most offices.
December 3, 20241 yr Why don't you get it from the horse's mouth and check with the immigration office which will handle your extension application in due course?
December 4, 20241 yr I know most IO's are 30 days before. However, where I live it's 45 days before. Check with Imm.
December 4, 20241 yr You can USALLY do 30 days before, ( some offices 45 days early ) it expires. It is NOT a visa, it is a 1 year "extension of stay", reason being retirement. READ YOUR STAMPS FIRST LINE. Make sure your TM-30 is up to date as well as your TM-47 ( 90 DAY ) NEVER do a overstay, you have a 30 day window to do your extension. My extension is done in less than 15 minutes, I do my own TM-30's when returning back home from hotel holiday stays NOTE: EVERY IO has their own LOCAL POLICY on all paperwork. Learn what yours is. Follow YOUR LOCAL IO policy.
