A Cambodian worker was severely injured after falling and getting his leg caught under a trailer truck’s wheel, which subsequently reversed and ran over him.

The incident occurred at around 11:00 on December 4, at a parking lot in Surasak Subdistrict, Sriracha District, Chonburi Province. Rescue personnel from the Sawang Prateep Foundation in Sriracha were dispatched to the scene upon receiving a report of the accident.

At the scene, 36-year-old Mr. Psor Chhuon, a Cambodian national, was found with a severely deformed and fractured left leg caused by the truck’s wheel. Rescue workers provided immediate first aid before transporting him to Somdet Boromrajthevi Hospital in Sriracha for further treatment.

According to a co-worker, identified only as Mr. Dee, the incident happened while they were unloading items from a shipping container. Mr. Chhuon reportedly lost his footing, causing his leg to slip under the truck’s wheel just as the 18-wheeler began reversing.

Mr. Dee quickly intervened to assist his injured colleague and immediately contacted emergency responders.

The authorities are investigating the incident to determine if any negligence was involved and to prevent similar occurrences in the future.
