An incident occurred near Khun Dan Prakan Chon Dam on the evening of December 9, when a 43-year-old man, reportedly intoxicated and riding in the bed of a pickup truck, was thrown out during a turn, resulting in his death.

The incident took place around 17:00, in Hin Tang Subdistrict, Mueang District, Nakhon Nayok. Rescue workers from Ruamkatanyu Foundation responded to the scene at a curve near the dam. Upon arrival, they found the body of the victim, identified as Mr. Preecha, 43, from Si Sa Ket Province. He was lying on the median strip of the road.

The victim sustained a fractured left arm, abrasions on both arms, and a severe forehead wound. A white pickup truck was parked nearby, driven by Mr. Charoen, 35, who appeared intoxicated but was able to respond to questions.

According to Mr. Charoen, the two men had attended a seminar with 500 participants at a nearby resort. After drinking alcohol in the afternoon, they decided to visit Khun Dan Dam. The victim had been sitting on an ice cooler in the back of the pickup despite warnings to ride in the front seat. As the truck entered a curve, the victim fell out and suffered fatal injuries upon hitting the road.

Authorities and medical personnel conducted a preliminary examination of the body before transferring it for further autopsy. Police are also investigating eyewitness accounts and reviewing nearby CCTV footage to clarify the circumstances of the accident.
