Never have I claimed to do this.

As Judge Judy is famous for saying "You do not need a good memory if you always tell the truth"!

Because rural youth in other countries will just say have a good day sir after someone yells and sneers at them.

Who says he yelled and sneered?  Why make things up just to blame the victim?

A group of Thai teenagers trashes your car and beats you up just to get their jollies and absolutely nothing precipitated the attack? Possible, but in my opinion, very improbable.

These Swiss men are famous for the quick tempers in Thailand, kicking doctors, bashing elderly women in supermarkets etc
Swissy was given an attitude adjustment lesson in manners. Thai kids just go around bashing tourists for no reason.

Tourism has recovered since Covid, the easy visa policy has had its desired outcome.

Time to crackdown now and make it harder for these undesirables with no manners.

They make it harder on all us nice people here.

Manoutcher Kamel Kamai is a typical swiss name, for shure. 🙂

I had to stop reading comments, I was getting really pissed off, so many, so quick, to start blame the Swiss guy, what type of human are you lot.

You can say what you like about me with your lowlife replies... I don't care, and you're too worthless for me to reply.

Bit touchy Bruce, chill dude its only a bit of fun.

I parked where I was legally allowed to park.

I had nothing to apologize for, but I did ask them to remove the barriers they had placed to prevent me leaving.

Then they assaulted me.

Pity you weren't around way back then to witness your first ever completely unprovoked attack.

I suspect there is a little more to your story you’re not telling us.

4-6 Thai thugs definitely held back"....     No... Holding back would mean not smashing the car, not beating up a 66 year old man 4-6 on one..

You exaggerate and then call me a moron. The irony.

Perhaps you should learn to read. OP clearly says two of them assaulted him not 4-6.

Without out a sliver a doubt you are the dumbest poster here, always making up your own version of events to suit your thai bashing farang apologizing narrative.

With that sort of arrogant and entitled attitude it is no wonder you have had numerous incidents with Thais.

It is only a matter of time before you come unstuck up like Swissy.
I hope you learn from the experience but I won’t hold my breath.

It's not common for this immigrants to act like original Swiss people. Because of the mass of immigrants in Switzerland its more the other way around.

Oh the immigrants?

where was this Swiss guy from?

Dieter Matthias Straumann, 61, allegedly assaulted Natchanan Khikkham, 58, inside the building in Trang, southern, Thailand, on March 5.

The grandmother suffered severe injuries, including a broken nose, swollen eyes, and swollen back. She was kept in hospital while she recovered from the ordeal.

Despite her plea for gentleness, Straumann allegedly became enraged, shouting before physically assaulting her. He is said to have punched her four times before walking away.

Natchanan said she retaliated by throwing a water bottle at him, prompting Straumann to lock her neck, punch her, and forcibly slam her head against the floor multiple times.

How do you reckon a 66 year old man provokes between 4-6 guys to the point they beat him up and smash their car ?

- Either they were upset because he parked in a spot they felt they had a claim over (parked in front of someone else is restaurant etc) and they wanted to teach him a lesson.

- They demanded parking money from him (this has happened in Bangkok to a friend parking on the roadside, the friend refused to pay and returned to a car with flat tyres) - he refused to pay and the beat him ?

- They were breaking in to his car and he caught them, they reacted ?

- They were sat on his car and he wasn't happy about that, he reacted, they reacted worse ?

You just made up four stories all of which blame the Thais.

You have issues.

I’ve had similar encounters with him.

The cliche “the lights are on butt no one is home “ is an accurate cliche.

He is very naive.

It is only a matter of time before his big mouth will bring him unstuck with our Thai hosts.

My rule is walk away from confrontation always. Not worth it & not my country. Saw a guy gobbing off to a bolt motor bike driver near my digs recently saying if he didn't have a helmet on he'd punch him. All over not stopping 50m further up the road. What's the point of creating stress. Just suck it up. I don't see an unprovoked attack here, but your better just moving on and just don't engage! It's like bath bus guy occasionally tells me I got on in jomtiem (which I didn't) wants 20b so if he's that desperate I give it. Not worth the argument in my opinion.

Yes, you are correct. When they refused to remove the barriers they had placed, I started to move one myself.

Then they assaulted me.

It's possible he parked in someone's spot who phoned rent-a-mob.  Only 4 - 6 assailants on one pensioner suggests Thais are getting braver.

Do they need to get much braver?  My wife's family never seems shy about asking for money? 555

You mean Mr Fehr who, in fact, did not kick anyone and was acquitted of the charge?

Don’t crow yet. Appeal pending.

I wasn't "crowing", I was just stating a fact as opposed to the false claim made by the poster to whom I was responding.  There has been no appeal.
