Meaningless Issue of the Day: Floor pick ups

Featured Replies

If you are cutting veggies for soup and one drops on the floor, do you wash it off and put it in the soup?

How about Chicken?

Soup is made by heating the components to boiling point, where bacteria and viruses cannot survive,

It would not matter if the OP left the dropped material on the floor for half an hour, toxin generation would take days.

Prions?

Have a dog, so have to give it a rinse.

Prions would be abnormal proteins in the meat, specifically beef, that was bought from a dodgy source.

They would not be generated by dropping the meat on a floor.
