Thailand the hub of non existing laws

The same as United States? I mean US Immigration Law.

More than 20 Million illegal migrants, the Law is never being enforced.

A Russian tourist in Pattaya, named Mr. Ivanov, was fined for decorating his car with flashing Christmas lights, unaware that it was against the law in Thailand. On December 17th, around 6:01 PM, Pattaya police were conducting traffic checks when they noticed Mr. Ivanov's car, a grey Toyota Vios, adorned with colorful flashing lights on Sukhumvit Road.

The 25-year-old driver was stopped and informed by the police that such decorations are illegal. Mr. Ivanov admitted he didn't know about this rule and was fined 500 baht for breaking vehicle equipment regulations under the Motor Vehicle Act.

After being informed, Mr. Ivanov understood the regulation, paid the fine, and explained he decorated the car for Christmas and New Year, thinking it was acceptable as he saw others doing it in Bangkok.

Pattaya Police have since issued a warning to residents and tourists, advising against decorating vehicles with items like reindeer antlers or flashing lights, as this can confuse other drivers and obscure signals, leading to potential accidents. Such practices violate sections of the 1979 Motor Vehicle Act and can result in fines up to 2,000 baht, reported The Pattaya News.

Santa be warned!

Instead of critisising the Thai Police for booking him ya gotta remember that he is in  Buddist Country that does not generally celebrate Xmas but the Thais are gracious enough to go to a big effort to decorate tourist areas and  Bangkok with colorful decorations which is appreciated by falangs.

But that law exists.... In Thailand they invent laws on the spot.... In Pattaya some time ago fines for no license to play darts.... just to say.... Here is a law too for wearing helmets, but no enforcement of any law it seems in Thailand

Meanwhile those with no lights are ignored by Pattaya's uncaring police.

Or like i saw the other day  a  new car. (Red plates,) with Red headlights, with matching indicators

And yet we see thai vehicles with decorative lights, even flashing red and blue, never mind the trucks and buses.

Mate, geez, how long you been on zthailand, if they can make many, they will celebrate anything, Christmas is become a thai celebration,  same as Halloween and New Year ( a celebration they have 3 times a year.)

Lol 😂

But it's absolutely no problem

To have a 4 meter high / 3000 kg load on a 20 year old 1000kg pick up

Drive of a night with no lights on

Family of 4 on a moped

Live wires protruding from lamp posts and pavements

Happy Christmas 🎁
