Need a place to stop one or two nights between Jomtien and Rayong.

Thanks

Holiday Inn in Rayong has some decent deals.

Bang Saray or Sattahip are other obvious choices.

Maybe not for a night but be sure to visit "Coffee Wars", just off 331.  It's a crazy place with several airliners converted to restaurants and what can only be called a Vietnam war scrapyard with an old school "Army-Navy" store attached.

Its a one hour drive.

Can still be a nice place between those places? We arrive two days earlier than our new year eve booking, that's why we looking for another place to experience.

You may like this - Google; Apinya Resort อภิญญารีสอร์ท บางเสร่ Old classic cars and campers converted into modern cabins.

And good cakes for your sweetheart; "Sweet Infinity" on 332. Google know.

They have rooms too but maybe not up to your taste? I liked it but my judgement was clouded cause I got laid...

PS. Bang Sarey for fresh seafood and nice, quiet beach may be the best. Lot of Scandinavian people there.

Everywhere we would like to stay is either fullbooket, or out of my budget. 14k for two nights is not acceptable for garden view.

We ended up in Rayong for a pit stop two days.

Thanks will come back at Ban Sarey when we return, a bit more normal prices then.

Try to avoid the polluted air and sea coast of Rayong Thai Refinery Petrochemical Complex. Including Map Ta Phut. If you pass that area you will find a beautiful coastline that ends at the border line with Chanthaburi. Drive a few more miles on the highway and you will see the difference.

Nice beaches, Famous Sea food restaurants and hotels in Mae Ram Phueng Beach, Ban Phe or Koh Samet Island.👍

I wouldnt go that way unless we had a Christmas dinner in Pattaya, and New year eve celebration in Rayong, so thats the reason. Heading for Island hopping after that Koh Chang, Koh Mak and Koh Kut
