Comparing the cost of something over 100 years ago to the cost now is nonsensical.

Here's what Google AI's "drivel" says about the cost of transiting the Panama Canal in the last 10 years.

Why?

A car at the time cost the equivalent of $4,500

An average house cost $100,000 in today's money

Both have gone up significantly.

Why should the cost of shipping go down over the same period?

Oh yeah, policies to help the ultra rich 😂 how could I forget 🤣

Lost the Vietnam war, lost in Afghanistan, Korea was a disaster, Iraq was a disaster, Cuba was a disaster.

Middle east in general is a disaster.

Come on they did show Grenada who was boss during Rotten R.R. time. Not sure who was calling the shots since it came out later he was senile at the time. Likely same reason Musk is now

Thanks 4 the great suggestion. It's been forwarded to Justin. Along with cutting off our exports of 4m barrels of crude a day and uranium shipments

Canada is a net exporter of oil. 52% of it goes to Merka.

Maybe Trudeau should cut that off, too.

There is a documentary on Y.T showing the building of the canal...An incredible piece of construction...Every American should watch this and it should be shown on all schools in the U.S.....Trouble is...Anything the greatest race in history has done must now never be broadcast...

it tells us that racism and masoginy is rampant in America and as far as this particular thread trump is just trolling and displaying his ignorance

Maybe that is part of the problem. But remember, America voted for Obama.

I think it's too easy to just blame racism and misogyny.

Blaming it on misogyny in Obama's case would be a real stretch....555

That reminds me, I think a huge number of Americans would have voted for Michelle Obama.
