Back when I was single, I've always preferred girlfriends with ugly faces and hot bodies, that's my definition of a "6".

I'm guessing the reason people have relationship problems is because they're focusing on what looks good on their arm instead of something they're compatible with. Oh she's beautiful to parade around town but behind close doors you got nothing in common and therefore it lasts what year to three at most. I don't get the number system anyway if I think my wife is a 10 somebody else might think she's a six so what's the point.

Having things in common isn't essential, in fact might be negative, i see guys who lack friends dragging their wife around golf all the time

I believe beauty is in the eye of the beholder.Fat or thin ,tall or short, light or dark, everybody has different tastes so how can you have some kind of universal rating system? However I do know that women who are too good looking are dangerous.

You're right, but when I see guys my age in their 60s with 20 year olds what do they really have in common seriously. You might say he's here for a good time not a long time and that's his business. Relationship wise personal I prefer women not girls. My wife is 9 years younger than me, never really heard music from the West. She always requesting my play list. I'm guessing if she was a lot younger that wouldn't be the case. To each his own I'm just saying at the end of the day what's more important, someone you can parade around town like an ornament or someone you're happy to be with.

So many men in the 1-4 category offering their view. How about, they are lucky they can even  get their Thai equivalents?   Educated, naturally beautiful Thai women with careers are not the least bit interested in the type of men found on AN. If they  become involved with a non Thai, he  will be of a similar or higher social position and will be  just as educated, good looking and wealthy as they are. That's the reality. There is no reason for a  successful and pretty Thai woman to take up with a middle aged or older farang with limited  financial means and low social standing.

 

The days of buying Thai women with chiclets, soap and pens  disappeared 50 +years ago.

Lots of posts in this thread from posters saying their Thai wife is/was a 9+. But are they? The locals might look at her and think otherwise, maybe even feel she is a 3-4 and/or looks like a peasant or a housekeeper.
 

Point being, beauty is in the eye of the beholder and everyone has vastly different tastes. So if you feel your wife is very beautiful then than that's all that counts. It is only how you perceive her beauty that is important.

That system needs to be slightly improved:

2 means you would have sex with her if the opportunity presented itself.

1.5 means you would have sex with her if the opportunity presented itself, but only if nobody would know about it.

1 means not interested.
