Re-ENTRY permit at Chiang Mai Airport

Featured Replies

Hello.

I am considering getting a Re-ENTRY permit at Chiang Mai Airport just before my international flight, instead of going to immigration office.

Is there a service for Re-ENTRY permit at the airport ? Which area in the airport ?

Is it open everyday ?

Thank you

Re-entry permit desk is located after security to the right of the regular departure immigration lanes.  (Do NOT go through the departure immigration before getting your re-entry permit.)  You must have a same day boarding pass to access the area.

It's open any time there is an international flight departing (since the person processing your re-entry permit will be an immigration officer.)  If the desk is temporarily unmanned, simply inform one of the immigration officers that you would like to purchase a re-entry permit and someone will be there shortly to assist you.

Do they have 200b "service fee" option at CNX as they do at BKK and DMK where the form and filling in and photo is all provided?

Single is 1000b

1900 b is for extensions

I don't know whether they offer the service fee option as I've always arrived with forms filled out and photo in hand.

Thanks for the correction on the single RE permit fee.
